Hmm.. windmill = aldehydes; cool evening setting with dark blue sky = iris; large, dark tree anchoring the picture = sandalwood and vanilla; touch of red, not predominant, rose; setting that everyone is familiar with = commercial fragrance.

To me, it is Chene by Lutens as it is majestic, serene and feels very comfortable with itself

Biehl AL02. I'm not sure why, I just concentrated hard on that picture and thought "What's the PERFECT fragrance if I'm seeing this out my window?"

The very first thing that came to mind was Divine's L'Homme Sage.

TDC Bois d'Iris. It smells cool yet sensual, like a sunset in summertime.

Chanel No.22. Glorious and atmospheric, like a sunset in Autumn.

Ormonde Jayne Woman, because of the warm orange and golden tones as well as the wind and open air.
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." That landscape resembles Argentina´s Pampa...a beautiful flat land with grasses, trees and lots of windmills....
I cannot other than picture myself nearby wearing leather boots, drinking mate near a nice fire, with my horse standing by....

Annick Goutal Duel...green mate with leather and some smoky woods....

I love how people's associations are based on the plains of where they're from. I'm the opposite of those who saw Texas heat in this - I saw Prairie cold! I'm picturing late October, Saskatchewan, frigid dawn temperatures just a week away from when the snow hits.

Van Cleef and Arpels - Les Saisons Automne. The crisp, dry spices in this match perfectly the warm, vivid colours of the sunset paired with the bare black tree branches. The scene is cold and warm - just like the fragrance.
