Boy, I'm in a real slow down. Right now, I'm just looking to sample and honestly probably just blind buy L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Home Eau Exteme. Hasn't been available in US for awhile, but it is not discontinued.

Probably will try the new Creeds and wondering what happened to the bold, new Clive Christian scent that was much chatted up for it's controversial ingredients. That's gone nowhere..

I've got so much stuff I love and no time to wear it.

Of course, that could change tomorrow...

Buying blind = gambling. Clive Christian means you are a high stakes man. Are you sure, StylinLA, that you are not a dandy? LOL!

My next to-try will be Arsene Lupin. My next purchase will probably Chloe Neroli or a new bottle of Caron Pour Un Homme.

My wish list would be something like:

    1. Patou Pour Homme
    2. Rochas Macassar
    3. Balenciaga Pour Homme
    4. Maxim's Pour Homme
    5. Patou Pour Homme Prive

I am not too optimistic that any of these will ever come back.

    To get: lottery winnings

To buy: a high-end fragrance store that I can stock to my liking

I'm almost serious about that. My m.o.: pick a line, learn about it, and buy every bit of it you can, so you can understand it. I've always been like that. If I buy one CD by a music artist, I have to buy everything they ever did so I can get a full understanding. Same goes for movies. If I get into a new director (latest obessions have been Antonioni, William Castle, and Joseph Losey), I am compelled to see everything they've done so I can "get it."

This can get expensive, though. I started with Creed. Yikes. I now have strong feelings for completing my Guerlain and Serge Lutens collections. Pretty deep into Cartier and Escada. Better stay away from Clive Christian, right?

^^ Trust me, completing a Clive Christian collection will be FAR cheaper than completing a Guerlain collection.

I don't really have a list of what to get next. But, I have a list of things I want to test again for possible purchase. They are:

    1) L' Eau L'Artisan - I like this one a lot but question the longevity. The SA at Barneys told me it lasts only one hour on her - need to check it again to be sure.
    2) Atelier Oolong Infiniti - Very similar to Bulgari PH, which I still have a bit left in bottle; but I have to admit I like it more than Bulgari. Test again.
    3) Atelier Trefle Pur - The idea of this green fragrance has me interested. Test again.
    4) Atelier Bois Blonde - Liked it, but again a different SA told me it didn't last on him, so I flinched. Test again. The large bottle size of Atelier definitely has me hesitant to pull the trigger on a purchase even though I like all three of these.

Not to twist your arm or tempt you cologneguy, BUT Clive Christian sells a small decant set that contains like 10ml of each of the three fragrances for less than a Windsor atomizer. That's how I tried them. It was a worthwhile purchase.

    Try List:
Eau de Rochas-I like the list of ingredients, consistent positive reviews.
Hermes Hiris-marketed as feminine, however suggested as a unisex. Intriguing.
YSL Rive Gauche pour homme-Might be nice as an office fragrence.
Burberry Touch for Men-by the same nose as Versace The Dreamer, which I love.
Yohji Yamamoto pour Homme-Hard to Find. I have only been able to find as a aftershave.
Insense Givenchy-masculine floral with an untraditional drydown.
