Something inoffensive and conservative, office wear-like.
Lets say the Le Male does its trick, she falls for you, and now she wants you to meet the parents. What fragrance is good for the situation of meeting a girls parents for the first time
Something inoffensive and conservative, office wear-like.
"You do not merely want to be considered just the best of the best. You want to be considered the only ones who do what you do." J.G.
+1 something conservative and inoffensive. Light (very light) applications of Le Male or Dior Homme would do.
Or, one could wear something as offensively sterile as Light Blue, which will give the impression that one scrupolously attends to his personal and his household's hygiene with powerful disinfectants. Which might scare the girl who has to smell that, but will reassure the parents.
Dior Homme intense : sensual and classy
Hypocrites will always be a thorn in my back....and my middle finger will always be the best remedy.....
Like mentioned above, wear something inoffensive and a light application.
Prada Infusion d'homme
I would probably go for Creed Silver Mountain Water. Second to that, would be Terre d'Hermes.
(the following written, assuming hetero parents)
Something her mom would like but not likely make her (mom) lust after you -- unless you're into the sort of thing that gets you Jerry Springer or Maury.
Pleasing mom is most important. Here's the simple calculus:
1.) If mom is happy -- everyone is happy. She has the power over the father. You know the power I'm talking about.
2.) Dad isn't stupid. He knows what you'll be doing with his daughter anyway. I wouldn't wear anything feminine since dad probably doesn't want a possible son-in-law to be a pansy or weak and unable to protect his daughter. If he's of (USA) Southern or lower Mid Western culture, apply so lightly that dad can't even smell it at "hand shake distance". Mom, you can probably get away with a hug.
Wear something that smells equal or slightly better than their socio-economic status. You don't want to smell like money if the parents are 8th grade graduates living in a 1970's faux wood paneled trailer with a shrine to Dale Earhardt and an income from selling hubcaps found alongside the road. And you don't want to smell like dollar store disinfectant if her parents are the least bit classy.
Naturally, wear something that fits you (from an outside perspective). You may love something Brad Pitt wears to the Oscars...but you aren't Brad Pitt going to the Oscars.
I can't offer any suggestions without knowing more. Chose wisely and apply lightly...and don't take it too seriously. You're dating the person, not their parents.
Taylor of Old Bond Street Luxury Sandalwood. Gives off a mature, dependable, clean and confident aura without being "shouty".
I would suggest Acqua Di Parma Colonia. Clean and smart.
La vita è breve, la morte vien.
Wanted!!! Rectoverso Tea Tobacco by Ulric de Varens. PM Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom Ford for Men by Tom Ford
Bleu de Chanel by Chanel
Sycomore by Chanel
Something her dad would have worn had he been into scents, and something her mom would have liked on her husband.
I would go with something old-school such as Vetiver by Guerlain or Pour Homme from Azzaro.
Ask her what her Dad wears . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . then get creative with that if you must.

Ok so she fell for you. The question is do you feel the same way abt her? This will affect the choice of personal fragrance for that 'meet the parents' session.
Just wear whatever you want, there is nothing they can do about it. Wear something evil and nasty.
UNTITLED No.8 of course!
There is a solution to this. Wear no scent yourself but buy your girlfriend a high quality scent as a gift and make sure she wears it. When it is commented upon how wonderful she smells and it is revealed to be a gift from you it is smooth sailing from there on.
Apart from what I would wear and what was mentioned before -> Dior Homme Intense, you can't go wrong with L'Instant de Guerlain or classic J'ose Homme by Eisenberg
Kouros. It will announce the arrival of the new alpha male in the household.
Depends how serious it is:
If she's Miss Right, I would go with something light and inoffensive
If she's Miss Right Now, wear whatever you want!
Probably, Chanel pour Monsieur
Versace Pour Homme
Hugo by Hugo Boss
Azzaro Silver Black
Bvlgari PH Extreme
Gucci Envy For Men
Gucci PH II
Cerruti Pour Homme
Chopard Pour Homme
Masculine, inoffensive, yet sophisticated gentleman. Green Irish Tweed.
Honestly, if it were me (and as much as I hate to say this)... I'd wear nothing.
like it or not, cologne has the stereotype of "guy trying to hard to get in girl's pants". you don't want them thinking this when meeting you for the first time.
after you get to know them, fine. actually, that should read: after THEY get to know YOU, then it's fine.
until then, let your sparkling personality and gentlemanly respect for their daughter be their first impression of you, not some stupid cologne...
I'd say go with something clean, fresh & inoffensive. Maybe Mugler Cologne, Original Vetiver, Himalaya, Infusion d'homme, GIT, Chez Bond, etc.
whatever suits you, but just not too much of it.
oh, and if you want to please them, why not try a classic that was popular around the time you girlfriend was born. ;)
Angel men or Joop...10 sprays at least I'd go with Aventus
You could go with a light application of LeMale, but out of your wardrobe I would go with Burberry London, or Armani Code, and maybe L'Homme. If it were me I would go with Zino, or something else older but classy like Azzaro, Paco, Eau Sauvage, Pierre Cardin PH, or maybe even Old Spice, or Polo applied the same way you would apply LeMale(lightly). Thats why I think LeMale would work it's a new school take on an old school idea.
From your wardrobe, I'd go with L'homme. Nice and innofensive. I personally would go with my most formal fragrance, like an Amouage Memoir, Honour, or Reflection. I would want to come across as mature and professional, yet likable.
1. Amouage Epic man
2. Dior Leather Oud
3. Perris Monte Carlo Oud Imperial Black
4. Le Labo Patchouli 24
5. Amouage Opus VII
6. Byredo Bullion
7. Masque Milano Russian Tea
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Light application of La Nuit.. it's such a safe scent.
1) La Nuit De L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent
2) Lumière Noire pour Homme by Maison Francis Kurkdjian
3) Royal Oud by Creed
4) One Million by Paco Rabanne
5) Allure Homme Sport by Chanel
Her parents are not baboons (at least I hope not) and therefore won't be running up to smell and inspect your nether regions. The last thing on their mind is what their beloved daughters future beau smells like. Anything light, fresh & clean will work, just don't over spray.
...don't wear anything, be as pure as you can be(good wine needs no bush)!
Tiffany for Men would convey your maturity and classiness.
So she falls for you because you are wearing Le Male?
Pour Monsieur EDT Concentree by ChaneL
Kouros. Of course.
1) Clive Christian n. 1, and wear a Saville Row tailored suit. They will invite you to sleep there with your girlfriend anytime you want it, in their bed.
2) Knize Ten, and wear a military uniform. They will invite you to sleep there with your girlfriend anytime you want it, in their bed.
3) Acqua di Gio, if she has a sexier younger sister.
4) Paco Rabanne, if she has a sexier older aunt.
I join the chorus: avoid Le Male.
