I feel feeble today: overly-tired and full of toxins. And, strangely, I felt I needed a full-blown vintage monster, along the lines of Guerlain's Jicky. First time I've ever craved Jicky in my life.

Unfortunately, I do not possess a bottle, so having deduced that what I needed was a godalmighty blast of civet, I went for Bal a Versailles. It's working well, teamed with a floppy old t-shirt and a pair of yoga trousers.

I'm at home from work today since my daughter has a terrible cold teamed with a temperature, and I feel about the same too.

We both felt we needed a little something to pick us up. My daughter wanted to try J'Adore (she's only five, where will this end?), and I'm in the divine Kai Perfume oil. I think it did the trick.

(Tee hee! LUVVIN' the idea of Dukie in Copenhagen and Kate in Kambridge in her yoga pants and tee ...you go girl!!....- both in Bal a Versailles!)

Still figgin' around this ayem - today a sample of Bulgari au The Rouge....tea extracts and notes of bergamot, orange, pink pepper, fig pulp, Roiboos red tea, Yunnan red tea, walnut, and musk (part of my B-day prezzint from Wolfie ).

On me a bit acrid so far - my bod's picking up orange peel oil and pepper with the fig bravely trying...we'll see.

    Hello everyone!

I'm in Fragonard's sultry Belle de Soleil again - such a beautiful non-coconutty beachy/holiday scent, sunny and warm. I'm really loving this one.

    Indigo Bunting
    Frederic Malle-L'eau d'Hiver
Sheer and cool; this fragrance brings to mind shades of blue tempered with pink.
The crisp clean air of winter segues into spring showers and a bevy of brilliant color.
The flowers sing out to their glorious feathered friends.

    Created by Jean Claude Ellena.
The notes are bergamot, angelica, iris, hawthorn, jasmine,
honey, carnation, heliotrope, caramel and musk.

Crisp, floral, very British - reminds me of Windsor and Richard James. A bright contrast to today's gloomy, rainy, cloudy weather.

Today I'm wearing Montale Vanille Absolu. For some reason it reminds me of a 'hippie' vanilla. That's a good thing! Maybe I smell a little patchouli? I don't know, but I like it.

Commes Des Garçons x Stephen Jones, which is back to being flinty and aloof on a cool, rainy day. Which is exactly how I like it!
