Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Sorry to have disappeared lately... I *am* still alive!
Anyhow, today I'm in Diptyque L'eau de Tarocco, from my brand new FB that I purchased a month ago, but which didn't arrive until yesterday!
Just as well, I guess, as I think it really does best in hot and humid weather, which we've certainly got in Boston right now! I've heard comments that the musk notes in LdT smell synthetic - I actually think that it might be the saffron, which gives me a similar vibe in Miller et Bertaux's "A Quiet Morning."
Hugs to all... even if you don't think you need 'em.
L’eau de Tarocco Notes: Orange, grapefruit, saffron, cinnamon, rose, ginger, cedar, incense, musk.

It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson

Gringo - from profumo.it - very nice!
"It is made with patchouli, Frankincense and peppermint. I rounded it and settled it with Sandalwood, enriched it with the precious aromas of Vanilla, Rose and Castoreum, and finally I lightened it with the Lemon from Sicily, fresh and joyous."

Costume National Homme. Wife liked it this AM. It reminds me most of Cartier Declaration in character, but not exact by any means, this is sweeter. So far it is a very different addition to my collection.
Today: C&S's Neroli layered with White Lotus Aromatics' Orange Blossom Supreme attar
