Default Which discontinued scents are a lost for the world?

Often discontinued scents are scents we used to wear and love it.
And often we don't understand the misterious reason for that.
Which discontinued scents are a lost for the world...and for you?
    My list is:
    Laura Biagiotti Venezia Uomo
    Paloma Picasso Minotaure
    Dolce&Gabbana By Man

Versace - Green Jeans (wonderfully strange) and

Jacomo - Anthracite pour homme (dejavu in a bottle - dont know why... I've never smelled it before).

Diesel Green Masculine. I just despise the bottle's look and the way it sprays, and breaks continuously, but out of the hundreds of fragrance I've owned/tried, Green Masculine stands out quite a bit, and unfortunately was discontinued quite a few years back.

    Vintage Tabarome for sure
Having acquired an old bottle of Patou Pour Homme, I have concerns it has gone off a bit. But there is enough of the scent left to indeed see why this one is so lauded. The only scent I've tried that truly feels like perfume for a man.

Actually, dear Paolo74, Minotaure is fairly available in Italy: I remember being in Turin over Christmas, and buying one 125ml bottle (at the perfume chain I Limoni, I think). Same for By Man, whereas I think Davidoff Zino is pretty much off production.
Same for the wonderful Davidoff Relax, which I understand is only available in Germany, how unfortunate.
The wonderful Borbonese cologne is off producion as well, and the original Insense' Givenchy is pretty difficult to find as well. The new reformulation you can find here in UK at Harrod's is quite different from the glorious original!

Agreed re Patou pour Homme and Ungaro 1- both masterpieces of design and execution.

    I would add:

Le Feu D'Issey- a scent that goes from unsettling to comforting in a most beautiful way.

Cuiron- Everything I read about this scent was confirmed when I was finally able to get a bottle.

Sagamore- the vintage juice is marvellous.

Ted Lapidus for Men- just gorgeous.

As a sidenote, sometimes it is possible to come across some of these discontinued gems unexpectedly. At an out of town outlet, I was lucky yesterday to spot a sole bottle of Ungaro 1 in its 100ml EDT form for a bargain price of £20. Also it is possible to find some real bargains in small perfumeries abroad.

Dear wolf, Minotaure is not fairly available here, sometimes you can find it. I found 3 bottles of 125 ml in a shop in a small town near Rome(80 euro each one), you can find it online, but having to stock is frustrating!
I never found By Man instead, only online in outside Italy shop...at 150 euro!!!
Zino is fairly avalaible in many shops.

Joint by Roccobarocco - I don't even know if it's actually discontinued, but it's so hard to find and so rarely sold, one might as well consider it discontinued

I had it in 1998: it was a great uncommon sexy scent. I regret not having stocks.

I would say Rochas Macassar. This is fetching up to $150 USD on some Web sites. It's $350 on eBay.

Tumulte - I've bought a 1.7 OZ bottle of this one two days ago and I could not believe why it has been dioscontinued. A mistake, IMHO: I am positively sure that the reason it did not succeed was because of poor marketing support, for albeit its simpleness (it is a linear scent) the blend is amazingly good and is liked by everybody.

    Balenciaga pour Homme.

I would say Zino, but I found a local one that is, to my surprise, much better than it.

Since when have Mazzolari Lui and Mazzolari Mazzolari been discontinued? Their loss would be sad indeed.

    My list?

    Patou pour Homme
    Ocean Rain
    Ténéré
    Globe
    Yendi
    Virgilio
    Le Feu d'Issey

    Ungaro II
Eau de Campagne (If it has indeed been discontinued - it's hard for me to tell.)
