Default Chanel No 19 eau Premiere - what did I miss?

I just saw this one. Is it out yet, is it any good? Or is it a fake of something that doesn´t even exist?

The bottle looks exactly like the one for No 5 Premiere...

My current version of No. 19 is the modern greenish one. Best to run this by one of the Chanel boutiques. My first guess is that it's a fake.

Hmmm....interesting - if this were real - you would expect a real Chanel advertising campaign the size of the Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere one.

Pele, I think this is a fake. There's no "No 19 Eau Premier".

Wow, that thread title made my heart leap a bit! Can you imagine if Chanel did release a No. 19 Eau Premiere?

What a great idea that would be. We would probably fight like cats and dogs over whether it was any good, or a good idea, but the juice would flow, no doubt.

The juice in the picture looks just like no. 5 EP, so it seems quite fake to me. I would expect a very pale green for no. 19 EP, if there was any logic at all involved in the design.

And I can almost guarantee that I WOULD be buying it.

On the vintage EDP version of No.19 the liquid is yellow-ish. But on this pic the juice color seems even brighter than on the vintage EDP, like it was watered down or something. Also never heard of any eau premiere version of No.19. I wouldn't risk buying this one.

Just checked the Chanel website for France and this is not listed as a product. Good fake though.

I also think this is a fake.

But this is similar style packaging as used for No. 5 Eau Premiere. I wonder if they just screwed up and put the wrong name on the box and bottle.

I do however notice a couple of differences. The trim on the actual box is silver rather than gold as in the photo above. But maybe this is due to a bad photo or bad lighting. Also, the N in No 19 as written on the box appears thicker than it should be.

Yes it is a little strange that none of us have heard of it. Now I am pretty sure it is a fake.

There was a short text describing the fragrance too (google translator):

"No19 express a strong and energetic personality that is irresistible: unique, independent, and decisive defeating. Enhanced with Hyacinth in the green facets and ylang-ylang in the floral heart. An enveloping and stylish interpretation."

I am not sure if this text is from the campaign for No 5 Eau Premiere or if it is written for this perfume... Sounds pretty good to me though!

That looks fake to me. And a pretty expensive error on the faker's part.
