Habit Rouge Beau Cavalier by Guerlain.
Good morning all, Wearing TDC Osmanthus today. I like it but I dont think I'm going to keep this. Its just too understated for my tastes.
MPG Fleurs des Comores for a little funky vanilla kick. Actually, this is quiet nice, with some green tinges to add to some indoles to add to the vanilla
LUX mona di ORIO
A, quales ego mane rosas procedere vidi!
Nascebantur adhuc neque erat par omnibus aetas.
Today it can be none other than Parfumerie Generale Cuir d'Iris...happy Monday to all and hugs to any who want/need them.
Another long day at the University, another day of little chance to smell myself
I wear full bottles of fragrances that I know really well on those days.
Besides, I received disturbing news from family member. I hope we won't end up hosting a bigger half of a breaking apart family this Summer, when I happened to overload myself over the brim!..
So, with all that, my old comfort Pure White Linen that is!
Dear Ines, sometimes it is the best thing one can do for oneself -- to start a new page. Try to relax, rest your mind, and appreciate yourself and the good decisions you're making when the times are rough!
Le Grand Duc, you are wonderful and funny, as always!
"You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about the future."
"Three essentials for a good life: Someone to love, somewhere to go, and something to look forward to."
Wearing No 19 today. Wears well in the heat and high humidity.
Have a good Monday, everyone!

Hugs and lots of love to Tao and the boy's family.
Inees, he is a fool to let go of a precious being like you, and the one who will be suffering in the long run.
I also like sophi's choices. And I like most of jacona's choices this June (now if we all could see your Wardrobe -- what have you tried? What are your smelling aspirations? Well, techinically, you do not have to!)
H., this JCB suggestion from u=yesterday is too toothpastey on me, but thanks anyhow.
Ted Lapidus Creation - nobody I know likes it, except for my cousin, but she is far away. Honeyed tropical tuberose chypre, full-bodied and long-lasting. Well, a bit loud at times, but I do not swim in it. Not usually. Once per annum, maybe.
On my right-hand side "Givenchy Invite Woman to Play Too" -- should not it be "women"? -- my answer is: "Some of us politely decline!".

Today was to be (and is) a relaxed do very little day. I'm in EA Green Tea...one of my favorite super casual fragrances.
Inees, I'm sorry about your difficult situation. Troubled relationships certainly affect your entire life. I wish you much happier days ahead. Follow your heart and you will make the decisions that are best for you.
I've had my own eventful day. My wife and coworker had continuing education today, so I had to work from home today to watch my daughters. When I do that I take the opportunity to sample or give full wearings to new fragrances not yet in my rotation. That's what I did today, but then I got the call that my wife's grandmother was having mini strokes. I rushed to pick my wife up and take her to the hospital to see her grandmother. The doctors are now trying to find the source of the mini strokes before a major one hits. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Anyway, what I sprayed on today was:
I got a decant of Declaration in a trade with a great fellow Basenoter. I sampled it the other day and liked it enough to give it a full wearing today. I find the top notes pretty harsh, and I'm mixed on the middle notes, but the base is really nice.
I'm not sure it's going to be full bottle worthy, but I'll probably keep this decant around for the occasional wear. It's nice, but it does feel a bit "dated" as I saw it described somewhere. It has a kind of '90s vibe to it.
Guerlain's Sous Le Vent.
Love and hugs to dear Duckie.
Petty small minded people have no place in my life.
Hello dear BNers - I seem to have missed a lot in the last day or so...
Big hug to Taolady and then another for Tarheel Golfer...plus one for Ineespenes too.
Had a really awful headache yesterday (what's up with that?), so wearing scent proved to be a mistake. Bleah.
Today is better (head-wise), so went with...
SOTD: JM Vintage Gardenia
Today, tons of cardamom and myrrh, not too much gardenia (huh?). Interesting.
SotE is Five O'Clock Au Gigembre...one of my favorite spicey fragrances.
Finishing the day in Oudh Noir from Angela Flanders... a perfect, more wood-laden top-off to the drydown of Citizen Queen and a reminder of where my sweetie is right now... at his cabin in the cedars.
Hugs to taolady ...
...and more to ineespenes. I know it's tough when relationships go sour, but you'll get through it. You sound as though you have a relatively soft place to land for a while anyway, which will help.
amoureuse by delRae but how do you pronouce it? Looked it up... can't find it in the dictionary I was in. Was looking for an audio clip of the word. Is it Ama ris?
(seems like vintage L'origan was made just for me)
