Try the Coromandel by Chanel before you buy. I compared the two and preferred Coromandel.

I think the 200 ml is worth it for both Sycomore and Coromandel.... I'm saving up!

It seems like Chanel will start offering Les Exclusifs in 100 ml bottles this summer... I haven't seen this confirmed officially from Chanel, but a couple of BNers have been told this by Chanel SAs. Let's hope it's true.

Sycomore is worth buying in the large size though.

Of all the Les Exclusifs collection, my top choices are Coromandel and Sycomore. Between the two, I prefer Coromandel! However, of course this is subjective. So, go for whatever you like.

Same here! Although I might be tempted by some others if they are in fact going to be offering 100ml bottles.

It's a creamier version of Encre Noire. Good vetiver scent but not nothing beyond that. Coromandel is DIVINE.

Don't sweat it. Just get a small decant from TPC. Nobody needs 200ml of anything...

I intend to finish my vats of Sycomore, Cuir de Russie and Bois des Îles and repurchase at some point.

I actually believe you. LOL. Must be nice to be able to spray these amazing scents at will...

I'm very impressed with Sycomore. A completely different league than Encre Noir IMHO and quite a unique vetiver. Coromandel is great as well, but I'm too content with Borneo 1834 to want a full bottle

It has been a few years since I've gotten to sample Sycomore and now I'm curious again since I read that others are mentioning Encre Noir in comparison.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?

I'm not sure I understand the comparisons between Coromandel and Sycomore, outside of the fact that they're both from Chanel. Coromandel is all about the gorgeous patchouli, and to me Sycomore is all about the vetiver (I also see a similarity to Encre Noir, and Terre d'Hermes.) I love and own both Coromandel and Sycomore... actually, Sycomore is my fiance's and I prefer it on him. I do think it tends to lean more towards the masculine than Coromandel (which I also think is completely unisex, btw, but this one is mine!)

Sycomore is a great vetiver while I find coromandel a bit feminine for me
you should try both before purchase
