    Default Signature Creed Scent?

Do you consider anything from Creed to be your "signature" scent? if so, which one?

I wear too many different scents from Creed and other perfumers, but I guess it'd be a toss up between GIT which was my first ever niche scent, and Vintage Tabarome which stands at the head of my scents.

Probably Green Irish Tweed. It seems to be the easiest and most versatile scent to wear.

Hmm.. Difficult question. There are so many nice from this company. I probably wouldn`t use this as my one and only everyday signature scent, but If I had to pick only one creed to keep in my collection, I think it would be Acier Aluminium

Definitely Windsor for me, sadly I'll never be able to enjoy it as liberally as I'd like since I'll never be able to buy more after I get my flacon this fall

Windsor is indeed awesome. But not very wallet-friendly. My back up would be Cuir de Russie or Original Vetiver.

If I had to pick just one, it would be Royal English Leather.

Though I haven't worn it a lot, I'm wearing it today, and could certainly get in to it: Green Valley.

royal english leather, or vintage tabarome even though it is damn difficult and expensive to keep up the vintage.

Inversed. Also, I wear GIT, MI, and Erolfa enough to qualify. Those 5 plus Truefitt's Limes and Hermes D'Orange Verte are my 7 most worn scents. I'm wearing 2 of them today!

No, but if I had a "pick one, any one" scenario I would choose Cypres-Musc with no hesitation.

    Bois du Portugal, indeed.

I could not say I wear any Creed scent as my signature, b/c due to their costs I use them rather sparingly for special occasions. That being said, if I was to win the lottery I would buy a 15 gallon drum of Millesime Imperial and 10 gallon drums of Green Irish Tweed and Bois de Portugal.

I do not have a signature scent.....If I had one and if it was from The House Of Creed it would be one of three.....Green Irish Tweed, Green Valley or The Modern Tabarome!!!

Cypres-Musc is just a great fragrance. I think it's underrated here for some reason. Is it out of production now?

I don't think that Creed scents are complex enough to lend themselves to repeated wears over a short period of time. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's not something that would make them qualify for signature scent material IMO.

Millesime Imperial is worn often enough to be considered signature.

There are three Creed's I wear fairly frequently: MI, Erolfa and Feuille Verte. I tend not to think of any scent as a signature scent though.

    You can use it liberally...

    1) a flacon is A LOT of the darn thing (which I love)

    2) if you use it too sparingly and take many years, the last part of the flacon won't smell as good...

Yeah if I keep my flacon in a cool, dark place and only take it out on a rare occasion to decant some into an atomizer that should minimize that though.

On a somewhat off topic note, apparently some discontinued private collection fragrances can still be obtained if you special request a bottle from Mr. Creed himself? I emailed the US Creed office with a question about Angelique Encens and was told that I could still purchase a bottle of it if I did this, and he provided me the address I would need to write to. Has anyone else heard this?

GIT kept me company from 1997 till around 2007 then everything changed. Still think its the best of the bunch.
