Well, my über gay signature scents;
Poison and Hypnotic Poison; and most resently
Bal à Versailles could all be personified by the
lovely Swedish gay camp disco band
ARMY OF LOVERS
... hell yeah!
No actual musical band, but more likely some obscure yet classy and hyper-talented, pathologically creative, musical ensemble only performing, with swagger and Baronial splendor, pre-classical, classical, symphonic and other more or less "high culture" musical genres in some posh concert halls
Apart from that, probably Roxy Music: uncommon, intellectual and refined

Not only a band, more precisely a specific record of a specific Band....
The Beatles Magical Mistery Tour
Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers
I don't have one signature scent that I'm thinking of, but have some themes in mind from those things I've worn.
At times, like Massive Attack or Milosh. Chill, understated. Mostly about making another experience richer, but stands on its own, as well.
Other times, like Fugazi or Hot Snakes. Still a bit coy, but confident and a little brash, all the same. If you pay attention, it'll knock you out of your socks.
Slipknot -- Mysterious, unique, unusual.
Vintage Siouxsie & the Banshees (Bandit + Bulgari Black)
Pink Floyd: psychotic, low-profile and deep
Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.
Mine would be something like the Benny Goodman trio, or the Hot Club de France, on a quiet night. Elegant, smooth, bit snob, no drums but a steady and soft bass line )
COLDPLAY...soft brilliant ..masterful.
Probably The Platters....harmonious notes, evergreen & classic...unfortunately discontinued.
I don't have a signature scent, but my collection is like The Eurhythmics: eclectic and neither male nor female.
"No elegance is possible without it...perfume is a part of you." Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel
I'm thinking something modern, mature, but hip as well. Maybe something like Five for Fighting.
Such wonderful opportunities for comments on this thread.
I say Gordon Lightfoot and John Denver. Don't know how that translates into odor though.
That girl, that bottle, that mattress and me.
I'm trying to find any relation between music and fragrance!
Actually i don't have signature in music bands. i'm listening everything i like.

Classy, creative, modern but rustic: Wilco.

"It's not what you look like when you're doing what you're doing; it's what you're doing when you're doing what you look like you're doing."
The Roots - Mellow, eccentric, unique, soulful, smooth
Obsessions of the Moment- Kristiansand EDC, Green Irish Tweed, Zizan
Granted, we've known each other for some time. It don't take a whole day to recognize sunshine. ~ Common Sense
My signature scent is Heritage.
I like to link that to some classy people in music..., like Brian Ferry, David Bowie,Tony Banks(Genesis).

Between the Buried and Me = A*Men. on the surface it seems rough, powerful, almost unbearable, but becomes beautiful as it progresses. anyone who listens to them will get what i mean
A fine string quartet. Not really a band though is it? Maybe, Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet? Still not a band or is it?
Many different bands.....Enya, Yes, Bruce Hornsby and The Range, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Genesis, Amy Grant, Michelle Tumes, Nichole Nordeman, Michale W. Smith, Diana Krall and many more.....Sorry.....reminds me of the threads when we are asked to pick Our favorite scents.....I can never pick just one!!!
Playing in some smokey dive, and playing smooth, but not chilled, loud - maybe even a little brash and showy. Something like Mahavishnu Orchestra or Herbie Hancocks Headhunters...
right now in this hot weather a strong upper - JSBX
It depends on the season! If it was something like summer then Mango or Wolfgang Gartner, if it was Fall then Sigur Ros or The Flashbulb, if it was Winter then Chaz Knapp or Le Lendemain, if it was Spring then Arms & Sleepers or Hammock.. oh and possibly Dave Matthews Band.
