name the best Givenchy cologne for men in your opinion
This is a pretty unremarkable house. I haven't found anything by them that I want to wear.
Monsieur and Gentleman.
Edit: Both in their vintage versions - they have been reduced in their complexity.

Gentleman and Insense
I have a big bottle of Givenchy Blue Label that I like quite a bit.
Vetyver - by far.............

It would be a toss-up between Vetyver and Insensé were it not for Givenchy III, which narrowly edges both of them out as my favorite from the house. (I don't care whether they market it as a "men's" scent or not.)
I've only tried Monsieur Mythical (re-release) and I love it.
Vintage Gentleman and Insensé are amazing.
Vintage Guerlain, Maître Parfumeur et Gantier, and other rare off-site sales.
Frederic Malle, Guerlain, by Kilian, and Amouage splits.
New atomizer and decanting supplies for sale.
For me a work of fiction exists only insofar as it affords me what I shall bluntly call aesthetic bliss, that is a sense of being somehow, somewhere, connected with other states of being where art (curiosity, tenderness, kindness, ecstasy) is the norm. - Vladimir Nabokov
I am supposed to like my vintage Gentleman best. But I love my Pi Neo. It's like a sickness. I can't help myself. I could be loving an amazing classic, but I succumb to the urge for a roll in the hay with a woody/aquatic/spicy/vanilla/musk scent. I need fragrance rehab!
Play Intense. I'm addicted.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
I don't know about a favorite but I have to stick up for Xeryus. It hasn't been spoken for yet and is a fantastic scent.
That girl, that bottle, that mattress and me.
3 and gentleman. vetiver and insense are great too. i've smelled them all in vintage and in the new edition, except insense. how does the new insense compare to the old? i only know the vintage version.
ointments and perfume delight the heart....
So far, Monsieur, but still looking forward to test Vetyver
No single best as far as I'm concerned as it all depends on style/genre.
My top 3 choices for Men:-
Vintage Gentleman - a paragon of blending
Vetyver - one of the best vetivers
Vintage III - but I never wear it
Insense - excellent, but suffers from the tiresome affability of spices
Monsieur - newer stuff is more detergent-like with cheaper citrus and less animalic base ingredients (which used to give it more smoothness).

I would add vintage gentleman as well along with play intense. How could I forget VG; its the best p.patch around!
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
I cannot seem to generate a viable interest in most of the aforementioned releases. I do however have a few bottles of Vintage Gentlemen because it's excellent.
Pi, especially the edp edition.

Another vote for vintage Gentleman. The current is pretty good still, but I'd buy the vintage if I could choose. Givenchy III is also very good, but it is discontinued and not those most available.

Gnetleman, Pi and Xeryus Rouge
Gentleman is great fragrance, but not quite my cup of tea, at least not yet.

Insense, Gentleman, Monsieur de Givenchy and Vetyver
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

I need to explore more of this house, but so far my vote would be for Gentleman.
Jumping on the (vintage) Gentleman love train.

I never smelled the vintage Gentleman, but the new one is magnificent (the vintage from all accounts must have been awesome).
+ 1 for Gentleman.
Blue Label, Monsieur de Givenchy and Vetyver IMHO.
