Caron Pour Homme
Caldey Island Lavender. Made in a monastery on a Welsh island by Cistercian monks, and described by Luca Turin as "simply the best lavender soliflore on Earth". That has indie cred written all over it.
And it costs £12 a bottle.

Straight up lavender?

Where lavender is a key component?
Parfums MDCI Invasion Barbare. No question in my mind (it's my all-time favorite fragrance).
Lately I've really been enjoying Masculin Pluriel as well. It has an excellent lavender accord.

Don't really like lavender, but I do dig it in MDCI Invasion Barbare and found it to be a very good classy fragrance.
Caron Pour un Homme (rough opening though)
Bois du Portugal
Dior Homme has a bit of lavender in it. It is not lavender dominant but an amazing scent nonetheless.

The only Lavender I 'LOVE' is Creed's Bois du Portugal. IMO, it's a masterpiece of perfumery and one of my absolute favorite fragrances. Class+Tough-Guy in a bottle = Bois du Portugal. It's not for the weak minded.
Don't understand why Creed Aberdeen Lavender is so loathed on this forum but that is one of my all time favorite Lavender fragrances.

Vintage Pino Silvestre would be my choice, though I'm not a fan of strong lavender notes.

Amouage Sunshine Man is one of the few lavendar heavy scents that I love
BdP is beautiful - an autumn staple of mine.
For a straightforward, brisk, semi-dandy lavender - Oxford & Cambridge
For a complex, beautiful, pre-IFRA gutting, semi-dirty lavender - Ungaro II (fear not the civet here, it's super wearable)
Many of the names mentioned contain lavender among dozens of other notes, it would never cross my mind to define them "lavender colognes"... personally I'd just name Oxford & Cambridge (the perfect quintessential lavender for me) or Wild Lavender by Villoresi. Or "Esperienze olfattive" line but that's hard to find and quite expensive.
