Default Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight in Paris

Hope this will be sth interesting as any evening O. Polge's scent.

Created by Domitille Bertier with Olivier Polge, it is “an interpretation of a night-time date in Paris...your head in the stars”.

Midnight in Paris is a floral-oriental leather for men and contains notes of Lemon, bergamot, rosemary, leather, matcha green tea, black lily of the valley, styrax, tonka, benzoin, incense.

I remember in the 1960s my mother had Midnight in Paris perfume in a dark blue bottle. Is this in any way related?

No, this scent is related to the Van Cleef's men's watch named Midnight in Paris.

In no way do I associate matcha green tea with actually being in Paris at midnight- but the notes do sound very interesting and I like most Van Cleef and Arpels scents so can't wait to sample this one.

Wow, I am surprised to hear a release from this house. VC&A seems to have very few releases. But this sounds very promising and the bottle looks sharp !

EDIT : When will this be released ?

Looking forward to trying it, and if I like it, buying it at discount later this year.

The fragrance is available as an Eau de Toilette 125ml, 75ml and 45ml. An Eau de Parfum is also available from Van Cleef & Arpels boutiques and other select stores, such as Harrods. Available from August in Van Cleef boutiques and select stores with wider international roll out planned for September, October and beyond.

Bottle looks as if was inspired by Eau des Merveilles.
