    Default Let's Talk Reminiscence

NST posted a review of Reminiscence Patchouli Pour Homme (Here, if you'd like to read it), which jarred my previously forgotten interest in this house. So, I've pulled out my sample of Elixir Patchouli, with the intent on giving it some skin spotlight today. So, are there any must-sniffs from the Reminiscence line?

Funny you mentioned Patch Elixir. I just got a sample and sprayed it on my hand for the first time just a couple of hours ago. This may be the best patchouli frag I have ever smelled. Even beats Mazzolari's, IMHO.

I purchased Rem Homme, Noir De Reminiscence, and Patchouli Homme on my last trip to Paris. Already had Reminiscence Homme.
They are all great but I prefer Noir De Reminiscence.

Patchouli is one of my favorite scents. I have it in a an earthy form via borneo 1834 by Serge Lutens and will probably get it in the spice version in Coromandel by Chanel. But we patchouli lovers need a predominant patchouli perfume.

    Lets resurect.

Any breakdown on the 4 patchouli variants?

    - Eau de Patchouli

    - Patchouli Pour Homme

    - Patchouli Elixiri

    - Patchouli

I really wish I could offer more insight, but I haven't tried my sample since about the time I posted this thread. I might pull it out tomorrow to retry it, and if I get around to doing so, will post on this thread my thoughts. Though, I DO remember, any lover of patchouli will be right at home here.

I did myself a favor this weekend and picked up a sample vial of the Elixir, the Homme and the classic.

    Will have to test them.

I own Patchouli Homme and Elixir Patchouli. Elixir is by far my favorite of the two. It is stronger, more resinous, and longer lasting than Patchouli Homme. The Eau de Patchouli sounds interesting but I haven't tried it.

For what it's worth I DO NOT like Noir de Reminiscence, weird and rosey. Again, I don't remember much about it.

Eau de Patchouli is a pretty awesome dry patch and vanilla mix.

I'm really interested in their newest, Jammin Vibration as it is done by the perfumers behind my favorite male fragrance (Lucas Sieuzac & Reflection Man) and my favorite feminine fragrance ( Maurice Roucel & L'Instant EdP ).

I never thought I'd see such a collaboration.

So it sounds like there's not a lot of fans of the Original, just Patchouli (EdT), that I tried for the first time this week?

It was ok, but it didn't really wow me. I think it was a tiny bit too sweet. Or ambery. Or both.

    Wow it's been a while.
The homme is the easiest to wear.
Least patchouli dose of the three.
The most patchouli prominent and classic of three is Patchouli.
The elixir is very dense. Very parfum extrait like.

If one is enamored by patchouli , then the elixir will be an easy buy.

    for swap/sale:
