So far, I think Orange Sanguine is the most gorgeous orange scent I've tried.

Eau d'Orange Verte - based on scent, not longevity

I vaguely remember sampling Eau d'Orange awhile back. I recall it being a nice light orange scent. Definitely check it out if you want a light orange scent. However, of current frags in my collection, I kinda like my Paul Smith Extreme. It's basically bergamont(which is an orange note) and sandalwood. I think it does well year round myself. I guess if you are actually outside in the heat of summer, it may be a bit strong.

I've tried quite a few orange scents recently as I wanted something for myself. My favourites were:

Honoré des Prés - Honoré's Trip - By far my favourite orange scent. It may only last about 3 hours or so, but it's just great
Miller Harris Tangerine Vert - I purchased this and it lasts a very long time as it's EDP strength
Keiko Mecheri Orange Sanguine - Wasn't too bad, but just a little too feminine on me
Heeley Oranges and Lemons - About to purchase this as it's fantastic and it lasts a long time on me, which isn't bad for any citrus
Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine - Nice but unfortunately after 2 hours it fades quickly on me

Paco Rabanne Ultrared, though the scent reminds me of Givenchy Very Irresistible For Men, so I guess that might not be a good answer, one can really smell the orange in the top but it dissipates rather fast.

Terre D´Hermes is earthy orange scent, you might like that one.

I really like Eau Pour le Jeune Homme by MPG and Kobe by Xerjoff, although neither one is straight orange.

For a straight up orange/orange juice vibe, John Varvatos Artisan is excellent, if simple.

On the ladies I really like MPG's Sanguine Muskissime. I think Keiko's Sanguine is basically a copy of this, and an inferior copy at that, as it loses the ethereal sheerness of Sanguine Muskissime.

+1 for this. The most realistic, juicy, sweet-tart orange available out there.

I also quite enjoyed a recent sample of Bois 1920's Agrumi Amari di Sicilia, which wasn't quite as realistic, but was more of a traditional citrus cologne, done very well.

Oooh! Yeah, I'm also on the look out for citrus scents that has some longevity. Will definitely be trying these. Someone mentioned that the Heeley is a little dirty/dark. What is your opinion on it? This sounds pretty cool

Bigarade Concentree. The king of orange scents IMO.

If you have ever peeled an orange, and then some juice spritzed up into the air into a thick cloud of citrusy-bitter orange mist, that's Bigarade Concentree. BC also has an accompanying note of cardamom that works incredibly well the hay and cedar in the basenotes.

Most realistic orange fragrance I've ever smelled.

Totally agree....this one was the first non purchase of a scent that I really liked and found at a good price, simply because I could't be bothered reapplying it ever 15 minutes.....

Look forward to trying some of the other suggestions.

Absolutely. No question EDOV is king among orange scents.

Concentre D'Orange Verte takes 2nd honors.

ANd if we are to expand the listing where orange is a very prominent note, yet not the focus, I would include the Brazilian Orange/Neroli masterpiece:

    Maitre's Pour Le Jeune Homme.

my rec is Concentree D'Orange Vert.

Tom Ford Splits!!!! - Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood, Noir de Noir - PATCHOULI ABSOLU
Plum Japonais, Italian Cypress, Neroli Portofino, Costa Azzura, Azure Lime, Champacca Absolute

HARD TO FIND - Lavender Palm, Arabian Wood, and AMBER ABSOLUTE, etc...

One I really like is Spiced Citrus by Musgo Real. It's an aromatic orange scent, basically orange with patchouli and I think sandalwood. It's very old school, Mediterranean in style, and best of all, really inexpensive - only $21.00 US for a 3.4 oz. splash bottle. It smells great and has good longevity (about 5 hours).

Hey guys, I really appreciate this thread. I almost bought some Balmain Monsieur, but decided to get
samples of Eau D' Orange instead. I already have several lemon scents, but I think some nice orangy ones will smell nice this summer as well.
