I used to have a small bottle of Pleasures when I was younger. Don't think I'd ever buy it again though. It's the only Lauder frag I've ever had a bottle of.

None of them, but I enjoy Azuree and I think it's one a lot of men would feel comfortable wearing.

If you include the Aramis line, which is owned by Lauder and had the same nose working there, Bernard Chant, I'd also add Devin and 900 to the list.

    No contest here.

    Lauder for Men.

Also bear in mind that Aramis, Clinique, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Sean John, Tom Ford and Michael Kors are all Estée Lauder brands.

Agree 100% with Ruggles here. I'm glad to see someone giving Devin some love. (I'll try to say Kevin, but "Ruggles" is still firmly entrenched in my fragrance-loving mind as an icon from a few years ago when I first discovered this forum (and hobby).

Lauder for Men is one the greatest of fragrances from any house.
Rare, vintage, and niche off-site sales.
Splits: O'driu, La Via del Profumo/AbdesSalaam Attar, Nasomatto, Chanel Les Exclusifs, Profumi del Forte, Mona di Orio, Kurkdjian, Slumberhouse.
New atomizer and decanting supplies for sale.
For me a work of fiction exists only insofar as it affords me what I shall bluntly call aesthetic bliss, that is a sense of being somehow, somewhere, connected with other states of being where art (curiosity, tenderness, kindness, ecstasy) is the norm. - Vladimir Nabokov

Metropolis was WONDERFUL! I loved it, too. I don't even think it can be found now.

After Metropolis, I nominate the fabulous, and underrated Tuscany for Men

Then Lauder for Men, which is as nice a fougere as I can think of.

And for the record, Knowing works for men really well. My BF is very comfortable wearing it.

None of them. I enjoy many Lauder feminines and of course her Aramis fragrances, but her Lauder masculines always failed to impress me.

I would vote for the recent Brasil Dream For Him,a nice summer companion.
I also like Intuition For Men,almost a Chanel's Allure Homme clone...
On a sidenote,Lauder For Men gets very few wearings during the year:too heavy/strong/formal for regular use.

Lauder For Men wears like an expensive suit. Definitely not for everyday use, but it's a fabulously rich and sophisticated fragrance.

Intuition is very similar to Chanel Allure Homme but it has less cedar in the middle notes, and some of the sandalwood and tonka on the bottom has been replaced with a hint of incense. All of which make it much more wearable as an office scent. The bottle however is a disaster: ugly and extremely difficult to hold while spraying.

I love Estee Lauder's fragrances...I grew up with them!
My mom's fave was White Linen and I, too, wore it for a while. I still love it but it doesn't really capture my essence. I have a mini of it and dab on a few drops every once in a while when I want to evoke her. Add a burning Salem cigarette and I could probably reincarnate her, but I can't stand cigarette smoke.

My favorites are Azuree, Private Collection, Cinnabar and Youth Dew.

My fave masculine from the line is Tuscany. One whiff of it and I'm a junior in college again...wow, memories. I like Aramis too.

i was thinking about knowing. since i read a thread about it being similar to no.88 and the guide compares it to black aoud. was also looking for a rose that wasn't so expensive.

Another vote for Tuberose Gardenia and another for Youth Dew. I listened to a speech Chandler Burr gave and I had no idea what a hugely revolutionary fragrance Youth Dew was when it was first introduced. Apparently, it was a game-changer. Gotta respect that.
