Default what kind of fragrance do older women like? (aged 30-45)

    Hello,

I'm a middle school student and I want to seduce some older women. But what do older women like?

    Thanks for answering

I guess older women are like the younger ones, I mean... different and (less or more) individual in their taste !
So I guess there isn't a "scent that attracts older women" much more than a simple "scent that attracts women, whatever age".
Besides joking, there are a lot of threads yet like those ones :

    http://www.basenotes.net/threads/212...le-compliments
    http://www.basenotes.net/threads/217...ts#post1729700

In my opinion, it's really just a matter of taste so I couldn't really give you some personal advice, but it seems that statistically Le Mâle win the female crowd vote in designer scent category, all age groups.

If you're twelve, then thirty is indeed older, by a considerable margin. The OP specified he was in Middle School, after all.

Yup. I (rather vaguely) remember thinking that 30 was OLD when I was in Junior High, at the "ripe old age" of 13.

    Welcome to Basenotes, Eau deToilette!

Frankly, if you are for real and is a serious question- older women have a lot more variety in their taste. Young girls (like those in middle school) often think they are being unique but actually buy, do, and wear similar things because they are afraid their peers won't accept them. Basically that means, there's no real answer to your question.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt that this is a serious post (mumbles to self, "didn't we just go through this with another teen boy?") you need to realize that if a women in your targeted age bracket actually was "seduced" by you, there are serious moral and possible legal consequences of that action. She could possibly be charged as a pedophile, go to jail, and have a criminal record as a sex offender. Better to hit the books and wait until you are over 18 before trying to catch a cougar.

But I wish you all the best!

I echo knit_at_nite in her cautionary statement and in the observation that there's much variety in tastes. And am rather suspicious of the OP, whether he is indeed a middle school kid or not. Wait 'til you're legal, if you aren't.

Assuming you're serious, I will be also. Sorry, but your post isn't funny and it should be removed. However, if you really want to know I suggest you contact your nearest women's prison where you possibly could get a foretaste of what you might be wearing in the not too distant future. Hope you like stripes to go with your eau in your cellblock.

Well, if you're nearly an adult, I'll actually answer: I'd say that you would want to avoid ultra-aggressive, ultra-trying-to-be-sexy fragrances that might impress a teenager but would have an adult woman internally rolling her eyes at the arrogance communicated by the fragrance. It should smell _good_, rather than communicating sex or power.

Or, really, you might be better off with just soap and water, and skipping the fragrance, or wearing a very simple sandalwood or some other classic men's-soap scent to go with the soap and water theme. A very young man pursuing an adult woman is a little weird, so I think that the best thing that you can do is make yourself as un-weird as possible.

I too had my reservations about this thread. I graduated from middle school at age 13. I don't think readers were at all over-reacting to the proposal of a tweenager chasing an adult woman nearly three times his age, and it was unwarranted and unkind to say so.

Having spent a lot of time here on BN, I don't think there's much difference between the fragrance preferences of a woman in her 20s, 30s, or 40s. A woman likes what she likes and that's an individual thing. But more important than what a woman likes, is how a scent smells on you. I had a boyfriend who wore M7 and I loved it on him, but it smells weird on my husband.

There are two ongoing sticky threads at the top of both the Female Fragrance Discussion and the Male Fragrance Discussion forums. They are titled "Which scents chicks dig/females love/blah blah blah" and " Which scent gets you the most female compliments?" respectively. Both are aimed at giving recommendations for scents that attract women. They have a combined total of nearly 2500 responses, which I'd say amounts to at least hundreds of recommendations that will purportedly "get the girl." There are also many comments by women saying things like, "It's not the fragrance; it's your personality that counts." Basically, what it all comes down to, is that there is no one correct answer to this question. There are not even two dozen correct answers. Wear what you like, what makes you feel good, what smells good on you, and try to be a decent guy in general. That's what women of any age like.

    Some older women? Three? Twenty?

I´m 55 this May, so I guess I fit into the great-grandma cathegory, but honestly - I would say hitting on women that much older than you are, maybe you should at least avoid scents that are likely to be worn by men aged 30-35 (= maybe worn by their husbands).
I´d say go for a tiny squirt of ckOne and the scent of your just showered young male body. Turn on your natural charm, and the pheromones & testosterone will do the job.
On second thoughts; maybe you don´t need the chemicals, either. But since you asked.

    (omg I sound like I wish for a toyboy, don´t I? I do)

That's easy: older women (and some young too!) like to be proposed in Paris, to get married in Venice to a loving and caring (rich) man, to travel on her own private jet around the world, to stay in the best hotels, to dinner only at Michelin quoted restaurants, to receive jewel as a surprise gift, to wear haute couture clothes and to spend the summer on a yatch by the Costa Amalfitana. You can't go wrong with that in mind! Good luck EDT!!!

Wait till they are above 65.

A lot of women smell like urine around that age, which means their nose is not working properly.
That also means you won't need to spend money on a fragrance.

Taken at face value... First things first. You need to head over to leykisonline.com and start listening to the Tom Leykis recordings. This is absolutely essential.

Second. To answer your question for a fragrance. Don't wear ANY! At that age women will have smelled a hundred fragrances and hundreds of men. They will have a memory for each type of fragrance and the last thing you'll want to do is listen to some mid 30 year old go on about ex husbands or boyfriends. Or hear about how your cheap can of Axe reminds her of when she went to Paris with her girlfriends for a bachelorette party. Any woman in her 30s and 40s that is going after middle school guys (they are called rapists by the way) , is going to be smelling fresh meat and doesn't want it tainted with Brut.

Fourth, wait until you're 18. Cougars will still be there and you can legally be a boy toy.

Finally. You do realize you will put these women in jail and you are in fact inviting statutory rape. You may be doing this to break hearts for some kind of bet go ahead. Just remember they're a lot smarter than you are.

And you would be henceforth be considered to have been a victim of predatory abuse, and would be obliged to spend the bulk of your after-school hours with a counselor, most likely until you reach legal age.

Now for children - and no offense, but you are a child - who have indeed been tragically victimized by predators, that counseling can mean all the difference in terms of healing and going on to enjoy a normal and productive adult life.

Children who are NOT actually victims of that kind of assault, however, might prefer to spend that after-school time starting a band, engaging in some of the various ball-throwing activities that are so popular, or just kicking it with friends (in their age group).

In the unlikely event that you believe you might really love this woman, that is a sign that all the forces of the universe are commanding you, no matter how old you are, to be man enough to protect her from harm, and love her enough, to go to her and declare yourself, on your 18th birthday and not a day before!
