Default Brands Present In Your Collection

Just for fun ... and outta boredom,
I've listed my collection, after how
many items* I have from each house.
I've counted all items, as in, fx. my
Rochas, where I have listed two; one
is an Eau de Cologne and one is pure
parfum, but both are Madame Rochas.
Same with my Hermès; I only have
Calèche, but both in EdT and parfum.

    What would your numbers be?!

    Christian Dior - 27
    Chanel - 15
    Gaultier - 7
    Givenchy - 7
    Guerlain - 7
    Calvin Klein - 4
    Dolce & Gabbana - 4
    Lancôme - 4
    Thierry Mugler - 4
    Yves Saint Laurent - 4
    Boucheron - 2
    Cacharel - 2
    Gucci - 2
    Hermès - 2
    Lagerfeld - 2
    Nina Ricci - 2
    Rochas - 2

    One Hit Wonders;

Paris Hilton; Pierre Cardin; Profumo; Replay; Salvador Dali; Sisley; Tom
    Ford; Versace; Viktor & Rolf

*) deodorants; minis; samples; decants and back-up bottles are not included.

My collection is split between Amsterdam and Stockholm, so I can't check any particulars. I do know that Guerlain dominates. I have 13 different Guerlain fragrances, many of them in different concentrations and with backups of many of them (sometimes multiple).

Chanel is less well represented with 9 different fragrances. Some in different concentrations and with backups (multiples of some, especially of No 19).

    Well, it's just my pure parfums, that I've listed double;
    Calèche; Madame Rochas; Miss Dior Chérie; Dolce Vita;
    and N°5
    .
Whereas frags like Dioressence, I only have in pure parfum,
    so that's just one, obviously!

Come on you guys ... which houses dominate your collections?!

I HATE THAT WE CANNOT EDIT WITHOUT THAT DAMN NOTICE APPEARING!

    6 - Dawn Spencer Hurwitz
    5 - L’Artisan Parfumeur
3 - Aramis, Caron, Creed, Etro, Guerlain
2 - Different Company, Serge Lutens

All the rest are singletons. (The only surprise for me looking at things this way is that I've only got one CDG even though I consider them a favorite brand.)

The preponderance of L'Artisan fragrances is no surprise; they're my most-loved house. I really enjoy all my DSH fragrances, but I wouldn't have so many if it weren't for a local retailer stocking a huge selection -- so it's easy for me to sample them all and pick favorites.

As you surmise, It's too damned big! (and it's gotten away from me, which is why it's getting smaller next year.)

(I wonder if home-canned pickles can be shipped to Denmark...hmm...probably not )

I also need to be a little more heartless when it comes to plants... I didn't cull some plants (cucumber vines) and now they're MONSTERS taking over the garden, pulling down the tomato cages, and generally running riot. My answer: Pickle the darned things!

Guerlain is the only multiple (3). The other 15 are all over the board, and the next few I plan to buy won't change that trend.

Red face Re: Brands Present In Your Collection

I'm a little chagrined to admit that I'm such a niche-freak. None of the big houses are represented well, if at all, in my relatively small collection.
This is a great reality check to remind me that I MUST explore the classics more. (It's all Luckyscent's fault...I started ordering those darn samples and it was all over..)

    For example:

    Ava Luxe: 6
    Serge Lutens: 4
    Indult: 3
    Bond no. 9: 2
    Sinfonia di Note: 2
