Default TOBACCO VANILLE or HAVANA VANILLE

    How are they different?
    Preferences and why?

I prefer TV to HV. HV has a very strong tobacco opening that's a little off putting for me, while TV has a better balance between the tobacco and vanilla notes.

TV may get annoying in the long run since it's so linear...

Havana Vanille develops and it has a rum note as stated above while tobacco vanille is just a straight up linear tobacco and vanilla fragrance

I really like TV, but I just wish the balance was more in the favor of the tabacco. I will have to to HV.

they do go a little liberal with the vanilla and not enough tobacco i agree but i still love it, some say it is too linear but if it is sexy you cannot complain

I like them both. Tobacco Vanille is cleaner smelling. I find Havana Vanille more complex in its development as well. I bought a bottle of HV last week!

These are two very different fragrances that you should probably sample before shelling out for. I have nothing to add to the accurate descriptions above other than as a male, I am far more comfortable wearing TV. HV also suffers from L'Artisan longevity on my skin, but I haven't heard anybody else make the same complaint.

Havana Vanille would be my choice

HV is better. TV smells like potpourri to me.

I haven't tried HV but I enjoy TV a couple times per month. I find it a bit more complex than others do, with a dried fruit type of thing up front and a hint of chocolate later on.
