Default McGraw Southern Blend - Anyone have an opinion?

I recently got this super cheap and i do like it, i just can't make any sense of the notes. I DO get a strong whiskey accord at some point, but other than that, ive got no idea whats going on

Yeah,my wife got me a small bottle for Christmas. I actually kinda like it too. Maybe a tad boozy, but I think it is nice enough as a work scent. Maybe like a boozy version of Davidoff Adventure?

I bought this out of curiosity, plus the fact that I like the original. This is technically YAWA (yet another woody aromatic), but frankly I think that's just because you can't say "tobacco" for political and social reasons. To me this has some of the dusty aspects of old pipe tobacco. It's a pleasant, light cologne that I like to put on as an aftershave. Kind of reserved and gentle, and surprisingly natural-smelling. I thought that the original was much boozier, but most folks felt that one was rather gourmand.

After the first 10 minutes, it's all woody incense for me.

    Coty, I believe.

I read someone say he found Southern Blend less sweet than the regular Tim McGraw, but to me McGraw is infinitely sweeter. McGraw is one of the sweetest frags I have ever smelled, while I don't smell any sweetness in Southern Blend after the first 10 minutes.

Too much lavender for me, so I just washed off after a short while.
