    Default Your favorite Gourmand

Im really not a fan of gourmands. But when I do find one I like, I usually love it. For example, Bond's New Haarlem. It's one of my favorite scents.

Just curious what your favs are.

I don't mind Attitude but I don't think of it as a gourmand because the lavender and patchouli are so strong. Instead, I'd say Jacomo for Men (also called "Silver"), because none of the major notes clash with the gourmand idea, at least as it exists in my mind.

I like many notes in New Haarlem, but it would be better if they take out the "grape candy" note, and used more tonka or vanilla, instead of the "transparent" sweetener Bond uses. Even isobutavan like the muglers would be better than the bond sweetener imo. that said the coffee and cocoa notes in New Haarlem are very good.

My favorite these days is Bois Farine, although maybe it's not a conventional gourmand. From the L'Artisan line I also like Tea for Two, Mechant Loup, and Havana Vanille.

    Others:
    Ava Luxe - Cafe Noir
Guerlain - L'Instant Pour Homme EDP

I should revisit New Haarlem, it's been a long time...
    Spray it, don’t say it…

Favorite gourmand is it? Well, what first comes to mind is PG's Aomassai, Tobacco Vanille, and L'olita Lempicka.

I like L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme.

Also, Antico Caruso. Not sure if it's a true gourmand, but the almond note is pretty prominent.

Rochas Man is very nice too, but it tends to make ME hungry. Not the effect I'm looking for.

Mmm, I love gourmands ... yummy yummy!

    - Hypnotic Poison (stands above all others in the genre ...)

    - Noix de Coco (cheap ass coconut fragrance from Yves Rocher)
    - Dior Addict (maybe not a gourmand per see, but, damn, I wanna drink/eat it)
    - Dior Homme Intense (chocolate creme de la creme)
    - Vanilla Vanille (classic from The Body Shop)
    - HdP 1804 (maybe it's a fruity floral, but I get a lot of pineapple)

    ... to name a few!

My top 5 favorite gourmands right now are: Samba Kiss Me, Bod Man-Body Heat Sexy X2, Tobacco Vanille, Lolita Lempicka, and Thallium. For what it's worth, Thallium may not be classified as a gourmand, but to me it is. It's like a fruity/vanilla gourmand.

Honorable mentions: Le Male/Cuba Gold, Animale Animale, Jacomo de Jacomo Rouge, Rochas Man, B*Men.

The one I use most often is Fourreau Noir (Serge Lutens). Since I'm not terribly good at gourmands - this being on the verge serves me well when I have a sweet tooth.
There are days I find Le Male gorgeous, in particular when it's really nasty outside (rain, wind, cold).

Rochas Man - Only thing I have against it is that it wears off too quickly, LOVELY smell though
Angel Men - Love it or hate it, I frigging love it, I love the dry down
Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin - Received a tonne of compliments, amazing fragrance, refreshing on a cold winter day/night

    I would like to try..

Angel Men Pure Malt - So expensive and so hard to find
New Haarlem - Heard many good things about it
Hanae Mori HM for Men - Heard a lot of good things about it too

Can someone describe New Haarlem and Hanae Mori for me please? Much appreciated.
