Default What does "fresh" smell like?

    Hey all,

I am trying to come up with a fresh scent. Emphasis on fresh because this is what people tell me they want.

I would imagine that everyone's idea of a "fresh" smell is different, but I would like to get an idea of what you all think.

I'll be using Essential Oils to create the "fresh" scent if that helps at all.

    Thanks

    Citrus smells fresh to me.

Also, wooden scents. Cedar is somewhat fresh - I have 2 variants currently, one is really sweet smelling, almost a bit sticky if that makes sense and this one isn't fresh at all. The other is very fresh. Still sweet but not as heavy and thus - fresh.
Other fresh wooden scents I can think of are mountain pine, spruce and fir.

Eucalyptus and peppermint can "freshen" other scents.

If you're not opposed to synthetics, ultrazur is pretty fresh!
