It's a tough question because at once anything would, and also nothing necessarily would. Those names and the style is very popular now so maybe a scent conforming to their popularity as cool odd clothes would work well, but at the same time maybe a scent that sticks with their retro-Americana style would.

I'd say a traditional men's scent in the eau de cologne variety, like Roger & Gallet's Extra Vielle would be good, because it's retro, manly, unfussy, just the way those brands want to be.

    huh, u a StyleForum convert?

If you're looking for constency, then something that's woody, or a light citrus probably would work best. Florals, aquatics, gourmands (some), would create contrast IMO (which is good), but would be inconsistent with the workwear feel.

Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads

As long as you like it and it wears well on you, of course.

If you do need a unifying concept, woody, aromatic/green, musky, or leathery scents should all work well. Maybe even something from the "smells like (gasoline/ petrol/ rubber/ smoke)" topics?

That said, there's nothing wrong with Sequoia if that's the way you're leaning.

    Shalimar extrait, perhaps.

    Just kidding.

I like workwear too. Best match is anything in the traditional men's mass-market line: Aqua Velva, Old Spice, etc.
