Please do not list your top 3 or top 10. Just your #1.
Terre d'Hermes EDT
Opium PH EDP
Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin
For tropical heat, I'd probably go for Carthusia Mediterraneo.
Imagine there were no hypothetical situations.

Escada Sunset Heat for Men
I refuse to sink.
Atelier Cologne: Trefle Pur
Not exactly my favorites but the best for the purpose of this thread, which is projecting and lasting long in extreme humid conditions. I'm gonna say Banderas Blue Seduction and Black Seduction. There's something in these guys and I can't say for sure, but it may be the way the melon note in them is made. Especially in Blue Seduction. Having owned and tried my fair share of Summer frags from citrus to aquatics and everything in between, I've noticed these 2 to be beasts in the humidity. Best of all, they're not out of place on smell alone in the Summer, and they're both quite unique from the rest.
Bergamotto Marino by Gianfranco Ferre.
Balle de Match
Formal: Mugler Cologne
Sexy: Dolce&Gabbana pour homme
Colonia and Colonia Assoluta by Acqua di Parma!!! Works very well in the heat for me!!!
Central Park by Bond No.9.....This is amazing on my skin.....Last all day.....even in the heat!!!
Hugo Energise. It's not my absolute favorite in my collection, but certainly the one that works best in the heat for me.
Kerosene fragrance samples and bottles here: www.min.com
No doubt I have a huge list, since the mentioned weather is something I face with almost all year round. But, I think the one that works splendidly in the hottest and most humid of days here is Zeste Mandarine Pamplemousse. Needless to say, you would have to enjoy your citrus to like this one.
If however you want to refrain from citrus, my next vote goes to Gris Clair.
Kenneth Cole Reaction. Can't help it, I just love this in hot weather. I could wear it every day in the summer, but I force myself to switch off so that I don't burn out on it, which really isn't a hardship because there are others that I like almost as well and then I can look forward to wearing Reaction again.
4711 . It's so light, i usually re- apply a few times per day.
Guerlain Homme L`Eau
As in only one.....booo!
If I had to choose one, It'd be Selection Verte.
If I can have two, I add Concentre D'Orange verte.
Colonia by Acqua di Parma really seems to be brought out with heat. Also Red Vetyver by Montale, seems to intensify when you sweat
In my wardrobe, it's Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens

Roger & Gallet Extra Vieille
I live here in Houston, TX where it is basically the tropics, so this summer I have found myself bathing in EDCs. Lately I've been carrying a bottle of 4711 to splash on and it feels good and smells great. Also, it makes me think about what is the HG of EDCs???
Humidity does funky things to almost every fragrance I wear...but,
Original Vetiver (Creed) maintains its composure like a champ.
Azzaro Chrome. If you are talking really hot and humid weather, where you may be active as well - well, most other scents just wash away or conk out, whereas Chrome just keeps hanging in there.
I'm pretty sure I'd wear Chrome in that situation, even if I didn't like it much.
Monsieur de Givenchy - makes me feel clean and urbane even in a central Texas summer
I think Banana Republic Classic is a wonderful scent in this situation.
Roger & Gallet Vetiver

Aqua Marine by Bvlgari has been very faithful to me thus far this summer. I'd say it is the most tenacious summer scent I've owned, along with Dune for Men by Dior.
swiss army classic
+1 for Eau Sauvage and Monsieur Givenchy
L' eau d issey does it for me...
L'Artisan L'Eau de Jatamansi.
I don't know much about medicine, but I know what I like. -- S.J. Perelman
Annick Goutal Ninfeo Mio

Angel men haha Jk! Either cologne de Mugler or Gendarme for me...
Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino.
Incredibly clean, uplifting and refreshing. Perfect for humid weather.
l'eau par kenzo
“A beautiful perfume is the one which gives us a shock: a sensory one followed by a psychological one."
Edmond Roudnitska (1905—1996)
asking basenoters to choose one! Lol, wont happen
Gotta say AdG, just gotta.
Voyage d'Hermes quickly mellows into something that is rather nice--it was 25 here today and humid and it smelled great!
I don't think Tierre d'Hermes is a hot-weather appropriate scent. To me, it reminds me of hiking in the early spring in the gorge by my home.
If it has to be just 1 ... Bleecker Street by Bond No. 9
Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.
M7 Fresh - Sexy summer fragrance.
Thierry Mugler Cologne - Clean summer fragrance.
Voyage d'Hermes - Light and fizzy summer fragrance.
Cool Water - It's the King of summer fragrances so there's your answer.
