    Good morning,

I'm doing this today to warm me up (-8 C for starters)...

And, of course, some Sous le Vent again to go with it.

Best to all for a hopefully lovely day lying ahead!

Oh, my. Yesterday was my birthday, and today's my late mom's. She wore Aromatics Elixir, which smells like Black Flag on me. Maybe my vintage Private Collection as she was also an Estee Lauder fan.

Oh Larimar. You do spoil us. What a lovely start to the day. You have me smiling from ear to ear. Smooch.

Sunny and cold here. The wee birds are singing. Working outside again so my toilette simply involved some Cologne, (Genova).

Will dress later before going to work.

I am extremely upset (miffed/p*ssed) this morning -- we can't leave feedback any longer. Just seen Grant's whining about it -- what the H/F?

In case someone was wondering: yes, I was going to shout from the rooftops how wonderful and responsible and well-mannered and sublimely-tasted both Kiliwia and Warum are. Thank you both. Warum, nu zachem zhe tak? (hers floored and humbled me at the same time, $150 worth of various scents is impressive), Kiliwia -- you got me right, all my recent lemmings are crawling out of the woodworks to only start tearing my checkbook apart, them beasts. And I can't leave you any feedback, thank you very much.

    Givenchy Dahlia Noir.

Happy Happy Birthday, jujy54! I missed it yesterday, but kisses from one pisces to another xoxo

I have been swept away by my vintage Shalimar and can't seem to wear anything else right now.

Oh, fun! It's Chanel for ballet this morning, so I'm joining gandhajala (move over, will ya?) in that Bois des Îles. Mine is a bit of the 60s parfum ...and (I just can't resist) a light spritz of the current edt. Y'all have a fantastic day!

Still in my light and springy mood, went with L'Artisan Premier Figuier Extreme today. I don't care for this one in the furnace blast of our full summer heat, but I enjoy it very much the other 3 seasons of the year. Even if figs aren't in season yet

You're very sweet, but please get up - I'm just a pilfering princess. My mother's the true Queen - it's from her bottles of these grand old Chanel perfumes that I make my generous decants. And since you mentioned those other ballerinas, no, they were not! I've wondered why they aren't all begging to know the names of the heavenly fumes I radiate, and I'm starting to think they are jealous ...it's the only explanation!
