    I think Freddie would have worn a fragrance from the House of Etat Libre d'Orange. Possibly Vierges et Toreros. The following description is from luckyscent.com. Sounds like Freddie to me.

    Judging solely from this video, Hammam Bouquet, C & S No. 88 (the latter being maybe a tad too "dark"), even Creed Cuir de Russie- as he definitely had also an almost "swashbuckling", debonair side of his personality

    He was of Zoroastrian ancestry. Since sandalwood is offered in zoroastrian ritual (from what I have read), I will vote for a sandalwood fragrance.

    I adore Freddy for the true original he was. Closet Queen was my first choice. What about Citizen Queen by JHAG?

    Closet Queen is a wonderful fruity scent (raspberry) with citrus and vetiver, if I recall, while Citizen Queen is a rose/leather.

    Somehow I picture him being a fan of the A*Men and B*Men lines. Though I have to concur that Bandit and Kouros crossed my mind as well.

    I'll bet he walked out of the house soaked in Ormolu on more than one occasion.

    I was thinking only about the fragrance name, Citizen Queen would probably suit him more - he was into leather!
