Default Sagamore- The old and the new

    Hello Gentlemen,

If this has been asked before I do apologise.

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the vintage and the newer bottle of Sagamore? Is the quality just as good with the newer bottle?

    Many thanks,

    Koala.

Only have the original release 100ml spray which is fantastic. I would also be interested in hearing from those who have both.

Ditto. I have the vintage and can't recall hearing what the newer smells like compared to it.

The same goes for me. I own the vintage but have never tried the new version.

I do own the re-issued versions of Cuir and Peut-Etre. For these it's a different story -- I've never tried the vintage versions. The new versions are very good and stand on their own, so I would expect the new Sagamore to also be quite good. Realistically, though, I would expect it to be a little different than the vintage version.

I have the new edition, and it's wonderful. I've never tried the vintage. The new smells a bit like a cross between Tiffany for Men and Chanel pour Monsieur to me.

Haven't tried the vintage either, but I would agree with this assessment of the new version.

Thank you Gents. If anyone does try both please do let me know- I'm very interested in seeing if there is a difference, big or small, between the two.
