    From nstperfume.com:

Armand Basi has launched L’Eau Pour Homme, a new fragrance for men inspired by the sea and developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

The notes for the woody aquatic fragrance feature bergamot, lavender, blue breeze, cardamom, nutmeg, bamboo leaves, moss, patchouli and blue Mediterranean cypress.

as much as i respect Kurkdjian, there's enough aquatic-woody fragrances out there already.

Bamboo leaves, blue breeze? Wonder what those are

Thank you, JC, for the news! I like Kurkdjian, but now certain scents from Guerlain are on hold for me...

Bamboo leaves i like, makes me think of Bvlgari PH Soir (i'm a fan), and many others that have that note like kenzoki, the many eternity summer flankers and many others.

    Now, "blue breeze" ?
My bet is on 4-(4,8-dimethyl-3,7-nonadienyl) pyridine.
That's the "note" that's most used on marine, fresh air, "breeze" fragrances.

    cheers

Woody aquatic sounds nice.. this seems to be the newest trend. I love lavender, nutmeg, anything with bamboo and cardamom -- which I feel is the most versatile spice in fragrances. Either way, I'm not too well knowledged on this house. I was suggested to try the original Armand Basi (pour Homme I believe?) as a better version of Corduroy with longer lasting top and middle notes. Still wanting to try this (original one), but not sure how it may stack up to Corduroy which is one of my favorite cheapies, and seemingly irreplaceable.

Nothing against this house, in fact most of their line is very wearable and comfortable to wear, most are very fresh scents, the only bad thing is that many A.B. wearers seem to over-spray their fragrances.
    Favorite is the regular ABPH.

Since it is made by Kurkdjian, this shouldn't be to bad, but...

Inspired by the sea? Now that's new.

This has a high chance of being disappointing.

Tried this one today. Just a copy of Azzaro Chrome, maybe less strong and metallic...
