Both are really great frags!! Dior Homme is more versatile. But I would go for Tuscan Leather coz it just smells elegant and luxurious.
I realize that these two are very different, but I'm interested to hear which you prefer and why.
If there are other scents in a similar vein to either of these that you feel are superior, I would love to hear your suggestions!

I love Tuscan Leather, but am ho-hum about Dior Homme. Tuscan Leather is one of my favorite leather scents, while there are many many more interesting and enjoyable iris scents compared to Dior Homme, only in my opinion.

Two steps forward. One step back.
Tuscan Leather of course. Dior homme has a note that annoys me, though the intense version is better.
The superb DIOR HOMME of couse![]()
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Neither, I am sorry to say.
Dior Homme.
I'm not a massive fan of either, but Tuscan Leather just smells of pencil shavings to me.
I love them both for different reasons ofcourse.
Dior Homme is one of the most unique fragrances out there, IMO. The sillage & longevity is something that rather disappoints me. However you can smell it from up close & boy does it smell divine.
Tuscan Leather is one of my biggest compliment getter. It has one of the best sillage, I've encountered in 100's of fragrances that I've owned & tried. It is fairly linear and doesn't change much from the start to finish.
Decision time!
Well Dior Homme can be worn more often in a variety of settings whereas TL is more like once a week/month kind of scent. You can't smell of leather all the time, everyday. If versatility is your thing, then it has to be Dior Homme but don't expect to get noticed or anything. If you want people to follow you because of your scent, it's gotta be TL.

Dior Homme . Much better.
Tuscan Leather - Much, much better

Very easy for me. I don't like iris. Iris smells very femme on me.
DIor Homme of course!
To be successful, you must smell successful! THATSMR2USIR
I'd say that Dior Homme is, as most designer fragrances, more unobjectionable than niche fragrances. Tom Ford's private blend isn't known to be too challenging, but Tuscan Leather can still be a problem for people who are not into dark, leather scents.
I like TL more than DH, but depending on what you want the scent for, you'll have to decide which fits the bill more.

Tuscan leather - smells of luxurious car upholstery just before you take it on a test drive. ;-)
Own both, reach for TL much more often because, as Joe said, it's much, much better. I can see wearing TL a bit during the summer; not so much with DH.

Tuscan Leather yesterday, today and tomorrow.........
