    Default Fantastic Lucky Scent Service

    On July 21, 2009 I bought a $250 bottle of perfume from Lucky Scent (Indult Isvaraya) less than a year later it started to go bad, which was horrible, because this scent was heavenly to me. it turned very musky and sour, basically unenjoyable.

    I am getting a replacement :-) My bottle was about 18/20 full, so barely used. But I'm amazed that after all this time they would replace something (that expensive).

    i know who will be getting my perfume business in the years to come.

    That is really exceptional. I wonder if that has occurred with other bottles of that fragrance? (Or, how frequently it occurs?)

    Scent- I'm curious to see the date on the bottle of my replacemnet. i suspect the high natural ingredients is to blame
    This same time period i bought a bottle of Guerlain's Bois D'armenie, also a 2006 batch. the two bottles sat side by side and were worn the same amount of time, but Bois still smells the same.

    That's almost unbelievable considering how high handed the staff is at most places.
    Just wondering if they asked you to send back the 'spoiled' bottle.

    I'm glad they replaced the bottle!

    As far as returning the spoiled bottle, most retailers would expect you to return a damaged item in order to get a replacement; I personally wouldn't have an issue with that.

    Yes, they are sending the packaging for me to return the bottle. i too have no problem with that. :-)

    You bet: for example, lavender EdT made with natural lavender essential oils last no more than two years if stored in the right conditions. So basically, it means that the blend is made of natural ingredients. Either buy a smaller bottle or use it heavily, you might end up facing the same problem.

    One more side effect: when they get awry, natural oils turn souer, so the blend ends up smelling horribly bad.

    Just another thumbs up for Lucky Scent customer service. I had to return a bottle of a Comme des Garcons frag I bought for a friend's birthday a few months ago when I found out he had it already, and they were nothing if not 100% pleasant about accepting the return for a full refund (which isn't always the case with perfume sales, especially online perfume sales). They even told me to keep the samples I had requested with the original order when I offered to send those back too. I've ordered from them twice since then because that first experience was so positive. Great to hear that your experience with them was positive as well!

    Good to know. I originally bought M Geisha, Rouge at Henri Bendel NY. Went back last year, but they didn't have it. Lucky Scent was the one of the sites I found that had that brand and so many I've only seen in NY. Now, I will feel secure to purchase perfumes I've used.

    Ok, the fact that they gave you a replacement for a product that has gone bad is great. But what's really astonishing is that they did it over a year after purchase, now that sounds like quality service.

    Me too! They really are fab, & occasionally throw in a free sample of something they know l'll like, based on other stuff l've ordered. That's the personal touch & very thoughtful.

    Impressive over the top customer service is worth full retail pricing. Quality service, quality product= sales and good word of mouth advertising. Retail as it should be.

    Lucky Scent is really fantastic with costumers. Wish I could buy with them directly, but they don't ship to Brazil
