    Exclamation Dolce Vita.

Hello All, I have been looking at the notes for Dolce Vita by Dior and wonder if the edt could be worn by les hommes? What are your thoughts please?

Dolce Vita is very classical ,elegant and wonderful scent! It lasts long it's a bit sweet but woody!I think it depends on the chemistry of the person wearing it!I got a bottle from swap and the lady who had it told me that smelled so nice from the bottle but couldn't stand it on her!!!
I like it a lot ...smells wonderful on me

Definitely wearable by a man, in my opinion.

Agreed. I sometimes wear it layered with a sandalwood base as well.

For what it's worth, said from a man who couldn't care less
if a scent is too feminine or not, yes; it's most deff male-
friendly. The opening might turn some men off, but it has
the nicest woody drydown, fit for a man!

Yes, I used to find (when I wore it in the 90s) the woodiness and the spicy cinnamon, too, on the masculine side. It was a departure for me from the usual florals I wore back then (e.g., Gardenia Passion). And I loved that about it. I think it's fairly gender-neutral in terms of fragrance stereotypes, perhaps a tad sweeter than a typical masculine, but not by much.

If you would wear Feminite du Bois, you can happily wear this - they are kissing cousins.

If you can wear feminite du bois, you can wear this one too. Dolce Vita is a little bit more fruitier and siruipy than feminite du bois on me. I detect peaches and cherries at the opening, and then this one develops on me to a skin scent drydown, a warm sandalwood with spices, but very close to skin. Something in the opening is quite sickening to me, but once it reaches the topnotes is a comfort sandalwood scent.
