Default unboxed chanel...what is the risk to be fake?

fragrancenet offers variety of chanel products - both for men and women, 95% of which is unboxed...how come so much chanel boxes get damaged?... to my mind of course comes the idea that somebody may be filling once emptied bottles in some garage, who knows with what, and then somehow lancing them.
have you RECENTLY bought any kind of chanel from the above mentioned site? what do you think?
i was eager to buy something, but i am scared to get a fake.

"Unboxed" usually means they are tester bottles not damaged boxes. And it's not likely that the bottles are refilled. That in itself is not the problem. FragranceNet is, however. There are many recent comments in various threads indicating that merchandise received from them contains damaged juice, bottle, spray mechanism, and/or of course damaged packaging due to what appears to be poor storage (you might want to do a search for these posts). Their prices may be a little lower than some other e-tailers but I decided to stay away from them based on comments here.

they usually clearly indicate when it is a tester.

this is what they describe under their 'unboxed' meaning - quote:
Unboxed items are genuine, authentic, fresh and 100% original. Sometimes the outer box gets damaged in transit so it is removed. Unboxed items always contain the same original fragrance as the boxed versions. They are the best way to save.

Boxes can become damaged while shipped or handled, or the bottles can be scratched so we can purchase them for less and pass the savings on to you

I've ordered unboxed from them before. I'm sure it was the real thing.

If it's from fragnet, you're safe.

I ordered a tester of GIT from them and it was 100% genuine. It was also a 2009 bottle I might add.
