    Default Rive Gauche PH question

Does it share the vibe with Azzaro PH, Paco Rabanne PH and Kouros or is it completely different? How would you describe it? I see it mentioned plenty of times, but alas there is no Rive Gauche in Croatia to be found. One other thing, wich do you prefer of the listed including Rive Gauche?

    Tnx in advance.

Other than the fact that they're all classified as a fougère, I don't think they have much in common.

Out of the four, I prefer Rive Gauche PH...

Rive Gauche has a barbershop clean and classy vibe I don't see in the others.

The four you mentioned are great, but maybe rive gauche is more distinctive, it's different and it's less intrusive than the others, which are famous powerhouses.

Rive Gauche does, as previously mentioned, a common vibe with Paco Rabanne PH, and, to far lesser extent, even Azzaro PH, but what, in my opinion, makes this frag so distinctive is the crisp, clean, soapy vibe, which is never heavy, dated or generic, yet just masculine in a mature yet contemporary way

Fairly safe blind buy though. Even if it doesn't become your signature scent, it is a unique and quality fragrance.

Oh, also, check out www.theperfumedcourt.com/ for samples of frags you can't find in Zagreb.

It's cleaner, more metallic, and less fresh and herbal than Azzaro PH, and much less soapy and musky than Kouros. I haven't smelled Paco Rabanne in years but I get a feeling it's more citrusy than Rive Gauche. Overall RG is slightly darker and more subdued than the other three, and (in my opinion) a bit less distinctive. It's a well-made fragrance without as much personality as its fougére forebears. Do try it if you can, though, your opinion may differ.

The Paco Rabanne is the most similar, as it shares a bit of that barbershop vibe. But where PR gets a bit powdery, RG is a little spicier.
