Default I have my samples from Juliette Has A Gun.

Just in time for my approaching birthday, I received four little
sealed envelopes emblazoned with the Shakespearian "Juliette
Has a Gun" logo and containing a descriptive card (signed by the
deeply attractive Romano Ricci) and a 2ml
sample of Citizen Queen, Calamity J. Miss Charming and
    Lady Vengeance.
I am beginning with Lady Vengeance : a darkly sensuous rose/
patchouli combination with a smidgen of vanilla underpinning it.
This is very Dita Von Tees like and not the kind of scent to wear to the office
or whilst having tea with the vicar (as you do!) unless you want to cause a stir.
It is quite wanton and makes me feel bolder than normal in a strange kind
    of way.
I think I would wear this EDP for a big night out, wearing a long dress, when its voluptuousness would be
    given free rein......

I adore Citizen Queen and have the rollerballs but did not take to the others, nor the oud or Calamity J.

    Enjoy sampling!

I sampled Lady Vengeance and liked it well enough, but initially thought it was too similar to Agent Provocateur (which I love) to further investigate. However, as the day wore on I found myself finding it more interesting than derivative, the rose not quite as green and spicey as Agent Provocateur and softened and rounded out by the vanilla. I've sampled it since and now I'm wondering whether I should put it on my Wish List. Midnight Oud, on the other hand, went straight onto my Wish List - that's one I must have.
Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan

I would suggest you order the samples, not just because they are so attractively packaged
but because they are so obviously made with love.
I am testing Citizen Queen this morning. I rather like it! It's a leathery, soft powdery amber scent
with a good sillage and good,so far, lasting power. I think a light application will be required
and I wouldn't wear this to work - it's a bit too animalistic! I love the smell of labdanum (the resin
from the mediterranean rockrose)and it lends a warmth and sensuality to this scent. Personally I
don't detect the iris note, as the whole composition is very well-blended.
