    Default Marc Birley for Men

I have never tested this one. It`s described to be one of the most luxurious smelling perfumes in the world. What do you think of it?

Really? It's pleasant but very light and transparent. Not a lot of changes during the drydown. A nice scent, but to call it luxurious wouldn't be accurate.

I would not call it luxurious. I find it to be quite mediocre.

    Fragrantica.com described it as "luxurious"

Not luxurious, but very classy and "rich" smelling in a clean, sharp way. I compare it to Erolfa, which Joe also hates!

I would describe it as a discreet and classy masuculine. I would not use the term luxurious though.

It was created by Bourdon, I believe.

I am fond of it and wear it business settings.

It is important not to apply too much or one can get a "damp dish rag" effect. But light application works well.

Three sprays is perfect for me.

It's one of my favorites - I second scensitivity's "discreet and classy...[not] luxurious." I wear it with the deo stick to gain some layering of the scent, but it doesn't last more that an hour or so on me. A shame, really, because it's quite different from most of my other regular scents. Is it the carrot seed? I like it.

I didn't say I hate Marc Birley. It is just "meh".

    I do hate Erolfa though......
