Is this such a big problem? I never owned a hamster and don't know anyone who did, so I have no association of cedar with the cedar chips in a hamster cage. It's not like every other person you meet talks about owning a hamster. At least not that I've noticed.

I like Opus 1870 -- it's very elegant. On the other hand, it sometimes feel a bit bare to me, as if it had been left unfinished.

I love Opus 1870. I own the edt, and the after shave balm and showergel arrived today. Somone know who is the nose behind this awesome fragrance?

I am a big fan of this fragrance to and like the way the rose and ceder come together. I have tried most of the range of Penhaligons and I think this one is the best.

When I tried this one it simply didn't smell good on my skin.

Does it feel bare after 3 or 4 hours, or immediately?

I don't find it bare. It's straightforward, but not bare. I really like it. Probably my "politest" scent.
