VIW Extreme or Concentree
Thread: If Creed made flankers...
If you could tweak a current Creed offering by adding a note here or changing something in the base there, what would it be and what flanker name would you give it?
VIW Extreme or Concentree
Selection Verte Concentree
Green Irish Tweed - Night
I don't know how to get it there, maybe tone down the lavender and amp up the vanilla?
How about a mintier version of GIT. Minty Green Irish Tweed?
Up the sandalwood a bit, reduce the ambergris a bit and voila at the base: Green Irish Herringbone.
Add a little essence of barley ferment in the heart: Green Irish Whiskey.
No, I'm not joking.
Windsor Intense. I like the original, but I've always thought it needs a little more emphasis on middle and basenotes.
To all of the Millesimes - Buh bye, Ambergris. No need for your creamsicle-like presence.
Original Santal Dry
Aventus with a slightly weaker opening and a stronger base
Windsor without the Band Aid note.
SMW with something in it to make it more masculine
British Virgin Island Water - mixture of Windsor's rose + VIW
Hi, I'm William | My Swap Thread
I guess the only real Creed flanker, and maybe it doesn't fit the definition entirely, is Tabarome Millesime... As for one I could suggest... a follow up flanker of Bois de Santal, incorporating more civet and a higher concentration of organic, pure sandalwood oil. Perhaps it could be Creed's first actual pure parfum.
Windsor "Royalty sometimes shouts anyway" Intense
As my applications are really heavy everytime I wear it.
It is so very incredible, but an even stronger version would kill.
I know they claim it's not financially feasible already, due to the particular rose oil/stem resin absolute they use, hence limited editions.
I think it needs more of the topnotes it shares with Kilian's Prelude to Love, more Lime, and more of that Rose (De mai/Tuberose/actual Nuits De Young?) /green leafy floral heart OMG that TOP AND HEART........*runs for black atomizer* I actually now find the base on heavy applications(which is everytime I wear Windsor) quite good and substantial with the Dry Cedar/floral notes/Tonka.
But I think we will get a very strong taste of the Aventus base + aventus apple in Spice and Wood.
Have you smelled "Prelude to Love", does it have more of this "band aid" note than Windsor, as they share quite a bit in their tops.
And Yeah, SMW has so much going for it, but it's too femme and shrill.
As good as all these would be, I still want no Creed Flanker more than Selection Verte Concentree, with a ton of that vegetal-sweet "viney/green/floral" basenote.
Acier Aluminum Fraicheur. I would love it to have less powdery notes and some tart citrus in the open
Although no actual flanker- REL, BDP and OV in pure perfume strength
This is an interesting thread and there are a lot of good ideas here. I wonder why Creed hasn't embraced the flanker concept.
I would like a Bois du Portugal with a lighter opening and perhaps a touch of sweetness.
I would like a Citrus Bigarrade with a different drydown.
Vintage Tabarome Sport. LOL
Life's a bitch. If it were a slut it'd be easy.
I love the idea of making SMW more masculine. That is the reason I got rid of it in the first place, too femm.
Silver Mountain Water pour homme - Possibly toning down the green tea note (or completely removing it) and adding something earthy but not too spicy.

Tabarome Millesime Extreeme. Tone down the fresh notes, and make it more dense and creamy.
Erolfa - black/midnight/night. ... Keep the salty aquatic vibe but add some smoke and wood. I am imagining sitting around a camp fire at the beach on a cool night. The breeze coming in from the sea and mixing perfectly with the bonfire smoke.
I'd like an MI with a bit of pepper on the top, then some leather, increased musk, and a touch of aoud in the base.
I am glad they don't make flankers. In this sense, Creed is beyond reproach. There is no need to adulterate and bastardize a classic. They put resources into making a new fragrance.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
Some less-likely flankers:
Green Irish Tweed Blue
Green Irish Tweed Summer Fizz
Bois du Portugal Bois Edition
Acier Aluminum Terrible
Aventus Pure Malt (this is rumored to be reissued)*
Surprised noone has mentioned Millesime Imperial Concentree. If they could somehow make it last longer, it would be a nearly perfect fragrance.
I wanted to bump this thread, had some really good ideas that may be possible with some blending. I will add my Aventus flanker: Pineapple Express. It is Aventus with an added Cannabis note.
I wouldn't mind seeing an Erolfa Ultramarine or Himalaya XS.
This is just for fun and not meant to insult :-P These are defianately NOT what I would name a fragrance lol
Green Irish Plaid
Silver Mountain Snow - The prequel
Barron Wasteland Valley
Love in Bed
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
Aventus Dole Edition: extra pineapple and a bit of bananas
Bang de Geneivre: Now your gin and tonic is topped, hearted, and based with black pepper
Edit: New Year's Eve silliness diverting things for a moment or two.
I would like to have them repeat the "Aventus let's create a fragrance for Napoleon", but this time make the "partner" for Fleur de The Rose Bulgare (created for Teddy Roosevelt's wife). Instead, make a really unique, slightly rustic, retroscentual woody leather tobacco scent, evocative of T.R. and his time. The fragrance they would make NOW to honor the guy THEN. It would allow them to stay on their winning modern appeal streak, but do the retro thing they do so well, and try to nail it in a Windsor/Vintage Tabarôme sort of way.
