What sort of feeling are you seeking? Bois Farine is the cozier of the two, but maybe you like the pepper note to "warm you up"?
Here's a thought: wait until the weather gets cool to retest them and decide.
I have Verte Violette and Ananas Fizz for summer and spring. I am wearing Poivre Piquant on one wrist and Bois farine on the other. I like both but can only afford one! Which one gets your vote?

Bois Farine gets my vote.

I have and love both, but for winter I would pick Poivre Piquant.

Oh, it's already cool here! I'm a Canadian girl!![]()
I prefer Bois Farine.
I vote for Poivre Piquent, hot peppery.

Bois Farine for comfort. But have you tried Havana Vanille?
Of the two, I would vote for Bois Farine. You could also try VC&A Bois d'Iris. It has the dough note of Bois Farine but you won't smell like kendding bread. ;-)
From the L'Artisan's my picks for the winter would be Havana Vanille and Tea for Two. And maybe Drole de Rose for days when I want something lighter.
Would you wear premier figuier in the winter? I like this one.
I love Premier Figuier and it certainly would be perfectly fine for winter wear.
I was concerned that it was more of a summery scent because of the fruit base.
I love Poivre Piquant. Also recommend Havana Vanille.
Havana vanilla is not for me, it is very strong on me..
I really like Premier Figuier as well. I love fig, fall and winter. Unfortunately, both stores in my area were sold out and I bough the Extreme, but it's very different and is missing the sparkling quality. I've also had Passage D'enfer which is great for fall and winter, but I had to carry it around due to it not having lasting power on my skin.
Have you made your choice yet? If not, I would go with Olivia's Premier Figuier as other people pointed out. Please give it a fair chance to wear -- the woodiness will overlap with the fruity elements and create an unmistakable aura. Good luck and please let us know, OK?
I will let you know for sure. My mom was buying one and my bf wanted to buy one, but I don't want both!
so awesome!
I'm with Poivre group , it warms up the air around
Bois Farine and Poivre Piquant smell nice but they're both somewhat anemic. If those were my only
choices, I'd pick the Poivre Piquant.
Tea for Two smells great this time of year, and unlike several L'Artisans that often feel Saran wrapped and unsatisfying, it's a quality fragrance overall. And it smells excellent on my girlfriend.

Both Poivre Piquent and Bois Farine are excellent, but if I had to chose I would pick the Poivre. Also, Premier Figuier is a great suggestion. I think it's good choice for anytime of year. It wasn't one I expected to like, but I do, it's really good.
Have you tried Piment Brulent? It is very nice with a bit of chocolate.

I really like Fou de Absinthe. On me, it's fem, not masculine. I'm always given samples so I have not purchased the perfume. I love it on rainy, cold days in Dec-Jan. It has a burst of boost alcohol, but dries down to a sweet, herbal, nutmeg.
