In my wardrobe it would probably be Guerlain's Heritage.
Thread: Your most formal fragrance
Simple thread: What is your most formal fragrance. This is the fragrance you wear when you want to exude confidence, authority, and most importantly a business-like aura. For me, I would have to go with Amouage Reflection. It just does it for me. Not to loud, not citrucy or fruity, but pleasant, formal, and has great sillage. There's nothing I don't like about it, and it is very fitting for a business setting. Can't go wrong with this one!
In my wardrobe it would probably be Guerlain's Heritage.
Creed Vintage Tabarome

I always reach for Armani Eau Pour Homme or Boucheron Pour Homme
I think maybe Tom Ford Grey Vetiver for Spring/Summer. For Fall/Winter, maybe Jack Black Black Mark is quite unique and professional smelling.
I own several in this category, but when it comes to formal authority, and confidence, I must pick Creed Bois du Portugal.
Probably Rive Gauche YSL. Pretty versatile scent in that way as it is just as easy to reach for if you just rolled out of bed wearing sweats and want to get bread from the local store.
I have several that fit the category, but my most formal is probably Chanel pour monsieur.
If I need to make an impression, I reach for one of two.....YSL Pour Homme, or PS Fine Cologne (depending on whether it's day or night).....both are strong, assured, and classy IMO.

Signoricci 2 - by far the most formal of them all
Chanel pour Monsieur Concentree
Lauder for Men
Chanel PM, followed, perhaps not surprisingly, by Tiffany PH. Chanel Antaeus is a good choice, but is a bit too over-the-top powerhouse for a formal event IMO. Depends on the event, though.
Patou PH would easily be my first choice, if only I owned a bottle of that mythical elixir, alas.

Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree
Maybe Sienna C&E for business formal

I would probably say Epic, GIT, and Black Aoud. If I owned Sycomore, I might list that as well. I think I will call Channel today and pursade them to send me a sample

Esencia by Loewe if I want to play it cool & cerebral
Cuir de Russie by Creed if I want a little aggression
Oh I have a whole bunch:
Guerlain Heritage - business suit or black tie
Salvador Dali pour Homme - black tie/tuxedo, it's so dark and mysterious but elegant as hell.
Blenheim Bouquet - so refined it almost screams blue blood.
Tiffany for Men - everything Chanel PM should be but isn't
3rd Man by Caron - elegance in a bottle
Cartier Santos Concentree - Never fails to draw compliments, feels out of place in jeans and a t-shirt
Black Walnut by Banana Republic - works well in formal attire
Equipage by Hermes - more posh than not.
There are probably a few others but I can't be bothered to go upstairs to my cupboards to check!

In a world where people smell bad, it is the personal responsibility of every Basenoter to improve the world one SotD at a time...
I fling poo in the face of formality but on those rare occasions where I have to act like a grown up , its Pour Monsieur every time
