Chanel “Turban”, a coral shade for spring. I cut my nails really short and I like the look.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Frozen Solid, I think. I've thrown it away, already. I like opaque polish and this took 5 coats to get there. If I hadn't been watching the Rockets lose I'd never have had the patience.

    Ha! Ha! Ha!

I’m wearing Chanel Blue Boy this week. This pale blue color light looks great with my Native American turquoise jewelry.

The Sally Hanson Frozen Solid couldn't survive the gardening--something about digging my hand in the dirt, I think. I'm wearing my first at home CND Shellac in Glacial Mist. It's about the same sky blue color but with discernable glitter instead of pearl finish. The glitter bits don't seem to be lying perfectly flat so maybe I used too thick of a layer, but holy smokes, it took 15 minutes from start to finish and I'm typing freely. Base, two coats, and top. I've never polished my own nails much as an adult--maybe a dozen times. I should get faster.

My niece, bless her, said she never put gel on her nails (and she said it a bit proudly as though I were cheating in the grand arena of nail art!) and warned me to NEVER peel it off. I'm hoping the CND Shellac will live up to the no damage hype. I promise to soak.

Holy cow. I also promise to wear gardening gloves in the future and get some hand creme ASAP.

One thumb done in CND Black Pool with a matte top coat--cool. One middle finger done with CND Black Pool with mirror chrome powder and no wipe top coat--it's a chrome alright, but a bit darker like stainless steel. I need a light gray to make a sterling silver color, perhaps.

Essie has the best range of gray shades IMO, especially light ones.

I recognize about half the polishes mentioned in this thread this year but haven't owned any of them.

I'm wearing mostly orange this summer. Right now I have on China Glaze Riveting which is the most aggressive color I've ever seen: bright shimmery orange with micro-mini sparkles. It matches my mood lately.

I put the chrome on CND Cream Puff and it's like sterling silver. All good.

OPI Big Apple Red for Independence Day pedi, and CND shellac Wildfire mani at home.

Happy compliment from Tony, who assumed I'd had my mani at his place. He was quite surprised I was a DIY'er. They looked professional, he said, and I paint well.

Shycat, that’s such a great compliment! I give you props, I’ve lost the fine motor skills of my youth. Can’t keep my hands steady for beans anymore.

For my current pedi: Essie Sunshine State of Mind, a blazing orangey coral.
