How could I miss this thread?

    Here goes:

    1) Vetiver Pour Elle

    2) TDC Sel d'Vetiver
    3) Le Labo Vetiver 46
    4) Givenchy Vetyver
    5) ELDO Fat Electrician

    I think....?

Honorable Mentions: Vetiver Extraordinaire, Chanel Sycamore, Annick Goutal Vetiver

Holy Crap! As I keep reading through this thread, I keep finding more and more vetivers I think are great. Hard to come up with a top 5. Just goes to show how many different interpretations there are of this note.

I've found one that deserves to be near the top of my list: Amouage Memoir Man.

The vetiver in this is more like the vetiver in Encre Noir. It is dark and smoky and ashen. It's definitely more of an indonesian (dirty/earthy/smoky) vetiver than a hatian (green/floral) or rhus khus (green/grassy/minty).

Still looking for my daily signiture vetiver since l'occitane and the 1948 creed are no longer made. Probably will get original vetiver. But I digess, again sorry if this topic is getting repetitive.
Really? You trashed Creed's Original Vetiver in your review a few months back. Smelled "like death" to you back in April. Was "The worst Creed ever made in my opinion," back then. Perhaps you should update your review?

I did a redo they still have not updated it. My taste changed and I have gotten use to vetiver. Strange as it is, my tastes change and will continue to change. I hate that about my nose.

Ahh, I should have known. I posted a few reviews months ago, and they never showed up.

Well i got to try the l'artisan vetiver, jo malone's two vetivers, vetiver tonka and frederic malle's vetiver so I have been actively searching and so far I would add FM vetiver and vetiver tonka to my now top 5 list since i only had 3 to start with. It seems I like a lot of fresh vetivers, even though I am trying to find a dark one that would be interesting to me without it smelling like dirt per se. I tried the vetiver by guerlain again, I cannot count how many times I have tried it and it still smells bad to me.
