    Hi,elbenja!
I see here two recommendations for MPG Parfum d'Habit, which despite being very masculine ,could have been not exactly your coup of tea.Sample it first.

My suggestions are: Monsieur Musk Cologne by Dana
    Aramis by Aramis
    Worth pour homme concentree
Currently wearing: Dia Man by Amouage

I think the OP is going to have to choose between "rugged and manly" as opposed to "office fragrance", because you really don't want anything too over-the-top (e.g. Quorum, Aramis, Azzaro) for the office.

Hey there, I know I'm replying about two years too late, but If you want very masculine I HIGHLY reccomend Drakkar Noir. It's both very tough and still extreemly pleasant smellling. Also very versatile, it can be worn day to day yet something about the scent makes it appropriate for formal occasions too. Silage and longevity are both A+ too! An "A" grade cologne on all levels! If you want masculine and rugged then I would usually reccomend Dirty English, but unfortunatley it's now discontunued so something that smells like it like Gucci Pour Homme would be better. Dirty English is great though, and there are still plenty of bottles being sold even though it's discontinued. The best way to describe it is that it's like alcoholic potpourri...

All the best with your search!

Lapidus pour homme (1987) - perfect for an evening/night outing
Tsar Van Cleef (1989) - perfect in the morning after shower/shave .... very fresh

Some of you already suggested Kouros and Drakkar and that's pretty cool too.

I wonder what Gucci pour homme smells like cause many of you have suggested that.. guess that's something i should try.

I ordered some sample vials from Slumberhouse this week, I'm hoping to get them by Friday. Jeke, Vikt, Rume and Norne all ooze masculinity from reading their notes. I'll let you know myself once my samples come in. Most on BN have commented that although the frags are potent and very masculine they're quite wearable.

You won't be disappointed. I'm wearing Jeke today and I love it. I've got my eye on purchasing Norne next. The is by far my favorite new house.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, gender is in the eye of the beholder.

Some men say citrus is masculine, while some men say strong jasmines and tuberose are very manly, being very in-you-face notes.

The fragrance is as "masculine" as the man wearing it.
