Of all that I have sampled and own my wife says:
1. Creed MI- most elegant panty dropping fragrance.
2. Tom Ford TV-Very sensual, alluring fragrance.
3. D&G Light Blue- Generic, but very popular with the ladies.
4. ADG- The King
5. John Varvatos original- Dark leather cherry vibe, perfect for nights out
Elegant panty dropper? Why is that word suddenly used in every thread?!
I will have to shamelessly quote myself. Not because the post is any good, but because if I typed answers of similar content to every sexy-thread, I wouldn't have time to sleep.
I don't mean to be an ass, but really; fragrances are not sexy. And I'm not saying this in a discussion ending "to each his own" -way. That's not my point, it never is. What I mean is, that I can't imagine a situation, where a fragrance itself would be sexy. In a vacuum, without a context. It's kind of like saying that a piece of clothing is sexy in itself. Knowing yourself, understanding the situation, knowing how much to wear and to wear with confidence, that's sexy. It's really surprising how different fragrances I've found to be sexy. In some situations even a serious and reserved fragrance can be sexy, sometimes a sporty fragrance I usually wouldn't be that fond of.
i think Opium Pour Homme could be sexy when im like 35. right now its a little risky for me, but i still like to wear it
from what I own :
1. Carolina Herrera for Men
2. Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme
3. Dolce & Gabbana By Man
4. YSL Rive Gauche
...don't own 'em but Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan and Juicy Couture's Dirty English are pretty sexy IMHO (hehe SL and Juicy in one sentence...funny)
Bulgari PH Soir
i wore Armani Code today and a girl straight up told me i smell sexy
Based on responses from my wife (which is the opinion that matters most for this!), mine would be:
Kilian Straight To Heaven
TF Tobacco Vanille
Surrati's version of TF Oud Wood
Honorable Mention of Xerjoff Modoc
I'm a colognosaurus. Rawr!
Mr. Bond, you missed my point completely. Your argument against me doesn't work very well, since I agree with it wholeheartedly!
It would be goddamn refreshing if one of these sexy-threads would focus on what is sexy in a particular setting. Do you guys really think same fragrances are sexy, say, with a black tie and with a sporty outfit? Not ever have I thought a fragrance is sexy when I've been smelling it alone, without imaging a person that should be wearing it. That is, fragrance is never just sexy, it's sexy in some particular way. What happens when I smell for example a fragrance I've imagined a femme fatale should wear on a, say, young trendy girl? Not sexy!
What I'm trying to say with this is, that there are so many ways a person can be sexy. Same applies to fragrances. For this reason throwing names over and over and over again in a vacuum is tiring.
What's up with that attitude? None of that was directed to you, and I was not crying. I'm sorry if I came out as a whining dickhead, but my point was positive and productive.
I've been here for 6 years, and I've seen countless "top x sexy fragrance" -threads. I'm not saying we shouldn't talk about sexy fragrances - of course we should! What I'm trying to do is to contribute, so that the discussion about sexy fragrances would make more sense and be more detailed and interesting.
Just read through this thread and have a few observations.
1) Why does everytime someone say "panty dropper" some take offense to it. The term is obviously being used jokingly.
2) Surprised by the lack of aquatics mentioned here.
3) Surprised by the lack of mentions of Allure Homme Sport here.
4) Surprised by the mentions of Obsession for Men here.
1. Allure Home Sport by Chanel

I hate Musc Ravageur, to me it's so disgusting. Well, I'll give it one more chance....
Tobacco Vanille is too foody for me. I got a 10 ml decant bought blind. An ok scent but nothing spectacular, would never buy a full bottle...
So mine are currently (without order and more than 5)
L'Air du désert marocain (the late drydown is so sexy!)
Jicky (drydown is pure sex)
Déclaration (sex in a bottle)

I see this as a fairly open question. The top five 'sexy' fragrances could mean scents that seem sexy to me and make me feel desirable and attractive, it could mean scents that draw the most compliments, it could mean scents that have some kind of aphrodisiac quality, or it could mean scents women like or seem to appreciate.
Well for scents that make me feel desirable and attractive (partly perhaps due to the feedback I've received on them over the years) the no.1 is vintage Givenchy Gentleman. I could list others, but it's not something I've ever thought about. If I was in the mood to feel this way why would I wear my second best? Or fifth best?
For scents that draw the most compliments I'd have to once again put vintage Givenchy Gentleman in the list, but others are Montale's Sandflowers, Lanvin L'homme (of all things!) Obsession (the women's) Mandarina Duck Pure Black, and Givenchy's Into The Blue. These have all garnered a number compliments of late.
Scents that seem to work as aphrodisiacs? Well, from my point of view I'd have to say Fille d'Eve, Love, Chloe; Habinata, Tabac Blond, Annick Goutal's Tuberose and Gardenia Passion, the original Chloe, vintage Fracas, vintage Samsara, vintage Je Reviens and Dans la Nuit, and Love's Baby Soft. Yes, Love's Baby Soft (don't knock it)
Lastly I can mention some scents my wife appreciates: Givenchy Gentleman, Worth Pour Homme (vintage and reformulation) Chopard's Noble Cedar, and many a gourmand or vanilla-based scent.
