How and where do people get those nice little 4ml Tom Ford samples??? Thanks for any points in the right direction!

Just go to the counter at neimans if you have one near you. I was just there yesterday and got about 7 of them. they fill them up for you for free.
I think it's better trying to score TF samples in person at a Saks or Neimans if there's one near you, or if your travels will be bringing you to a city with either of these stores. I haven't had any luck requesting them via email, and they've been going for $20 a pop on eBay of late, which gets pricey.
Instead, I've gotten mine by chatting up the SAs at my local Saks. The Tom Ford SAs there are pretty knowledgeable about the product they're selling, and I find the more intelligently I engage them the more generous they are with samples.
I am a Tom Ford Private Blend Specialist in Anchorage, Alaska. If you PSM your information, I would have no problem sending you some samples.

The specialized Tom Ford SA's are quite generous if you're a serious customer, as witnessed by Mr_Castro above...
Has everyone checked out my Top 100 Blog??
call tom ford store or berdorf goodman or email.
Anyone have the email address or site where I could contact them about a Tobacco Vanille sample? their site is...useless and confusing to me haha
Oh they are. They asked me for what I was interested in, or to just send a sample of everything that was available. I chose the latter, and they did. Ironically, I ended up really enjoying one of the only fragrances they didn't send me a sample of: Noir de Noir.
This is interesting. So they mail samples for free to any part of the world? What is the Hermes contact? Is Creed the only one that makes you pay?
Most companies will send you samples of their new fragrances for free. Which is what happened to me with Ermenegildo Zegna and Azzaro. Tom Ford and Hermes were both extremely generous. Hermes even asked me for what I wanted to try!
I don't have the best of luck with samples now. From my experience in the past, Montale was just beyond generous, I managed to actually get Amouage samples, Frederic Malle (via Barney's) were great, Truefitt and Hill were good, and Thierry Mugler was great too.
Now, a lot of companies are weary of giving away stuff for free, and then having it appear on Ebay...Can't say I blame them.
Anyone have a montale website or contact info? I've been wanting to try black aoud
When the TF boutique was just opening their store in NY, I wrote them a letter and they sent me this TF dark maroon purple box with a pamphlet and inside was a few 2ml carded sprays. Presentation was excellent. The house provides some superior customer service.
What about Creed. No free samples from them?
I found Saks staff were the most generous when it came to giving out samples. The last time I ws in the Saks store in San Francisco I got enough Tom Ford samples to last about 6 months, I do not kid. Pity the same can't be said about the stores in Australia, your Lucky if you get one of these scent wipes. As for asking for samples from Tom Ford, don't hold your breath.
Right so I mailed Hermes and it came back with a 'Unable to Process you Request' reply. So I tried their website. Tried TF as well. Will post an update if I hear anything.
^ Yeah, I emailed Tom Ford and haven't heard anything back yet either...I'll wait a while longer before I consider it a lost cause. Hopefully they'll send a couple out...I haven't been able to sample many of them yet..
Yeah haven't heard anything from TF or Hermes. Emailed Annick Goutal and got a reply in an hour. Now that's customer service.
The most generous niche house i have ran into is Creed, Tom Ford is good too though.
I should be getting a sample from Hermes soon.Hopefully.
Guerlain-Don't send samples over the post, told to try mall, not in my country.
Tom Ford-No reply
Annick Goutal-On it's way
TRAGEDY STRIKES! My visit to the Somerset mall ended with Barney's telling me they don't carry Malle at that location any more and both Saks and Neiman's no longer carry Tom Ford Private Blend at either store anymore and they know of no place in MI or Ohio to get them! I was directed (at both Barneys and Neiman's to Chicago, 300 miles away - thanks alot!). So anyway, my long awaited visit to the nice boutiques that aren't in Colorado ended in total failure.
I am looking for Tom Ford Samples
I am in Paris. France
I am a serious buyer
I have to big up By Kilian in this instance. I rang the By Kilian counter at a large department store in England as we dont have anywhere that sells it here in Northern Ireland. I asked the sales assistant would it be possible to have a sample mailed to me to which she replied "no problem, what's the address?" I had to stop and tell her what the actual sample was before giving my address. A few days later I returned home to see a reasonably large padded envelope for one sample. I quickly opened the envelope to see that I had been sent the majority of the By Kilian line samples in a nice black material pouch. So hats off to By Kilian!
Tom Ford doesn't send them anymore. L'Artisan, Penhaligon's, and Hermes will send you just about anything if you ask nicely.
No, and unfortunately I don't think they have a Canadian Hermes online store yet. But you could try calling a Canadian Hermes store (able to locate the closest one to you on their website) and see if they send them out.
The perfumed court
I have a handful of these, obtained from TF counters when making purchases. I haven't found staff here particularly generous - of three separate occasions when I spent at their counters, I was only actually offered samples one time, the other two times I had to ask. The time I dared to ask before parting with money, I was quite rudely refused!

Tf counter but you have to be a convincing prospective buyer
I know I am late to the party but perfumed court is making a ton on their decants and the Tom Ford website contact listed above told me samples were for in store only. Myperfumesamples.com has prettty decent prices, but they don't have all the niche you are looking for. Also, I have had an issue with 1 (of 25+) scents smelling off. -it was like whoever filled the Acqua Fiorentina sample had indian curry for lunch. The neiman Marcus Creed counter spray smelled way better.
I got three 4ml samples of my choice along with a bag full of designer samples when I bought my 50ml Amber Absolute from Nordstrom. I've also been given some 4ml samples for free just by being curious about the brand.

2. Lectric Shave
3. Vicks Vapor Rub
4. Febreze Pour Homme
5. Preferred Stock
I called the Tom Ford NYC Store and was told they no longer give out samples and to visit them to try the fragrances. However I recently Saks and they were very helpful and generous in giving out the 4 ml samples. Maybe it was that I come into the store or the counter person recognized me,,, but i inquired about the collection and was unsure which one I wanted to purchase. She gave me three and I'm sure If I asked they would have given me what I wanted. Recently ordered a tobacco vanille from ebay a roll on and it smelled nothing like the original.... yeaha, it may have smelled like tobacco & Vanille but a knock off for sure...
i got a free 4ml sample when i visited the tom ford store in nyc in person. also got decants from saks but they were 2ml, not 4ml.
