Thread: subtle & sexy

    Default subtle & sexy

Which fragrance combines these values most in your opinion? I'd like something that doesn't project too much but smells seductive when you're close with your gf.
Acqua di Gi˛ is my guilty pleasure. What's yours?

If it is "manly" enough for you and your gf, it would definitely be "Sarrasins" for me.

Escada Homme. Masculine and "dressy" but strangely subtle. I would call it a skinscent if it didn't have such an oriental presence.

For me it'd either be L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme, or Costume National's 21.

agree with Escada Homme, Drakkar, Yardley Gold, Safari....and maybe Ungaro pH III also

well, most of scents, if applied cautiously, can give that effect - it┤s just about combination of the scent and your skin and about being light on the trigger

    Ditto.

I say go for something sexy without concerning yourself with strength, then adjust your application to suit your preference.

Yup. That's the key. Learn to moderate the application according to the projection power of your fragrance.

Of course there are also lighter fragrances with modest projection; they seldom overwhelm even with extra sprays. Some personal favorites with such a profile:-

    Nightscape by Ulrich Lang
    Daim Blond by Serge Lutens
    Roadster by Cartier
    31, rue Cambon by Chanel
A Taste of Heaven by By Kilian
