    Default Streamlining Wardrobe

    Greetings Everyone

Have you been able to choose 15 or fewer fragrances for your wardrobe? If you have, which fragrances have you selected?

I can't even choose 15 for the cooler weather coming up. I keep trying to dump more and more and keep it down to all 4 and 5 star frags, but it's hard to do. I'm not much of a citrus fragrance person, so those are often gonna be 3 stars for me, but they're still ideal for the Summer; so they may be in my collection. As a Basenoter and a frag-head, I don't think I'll ever have my collection down to just 15.

I will say though, within the past few months, I've been swapping fragrances that I am not thrilled about or just giving them away to friends. Thing is, I want to look at my wardrobe and see only fragrances that I really like or really love. So I've been sorta downsizing, and as far as new purchases, I have grown to be far more selective than I use to be.

I've seen members who reduced their bottles to a mere 10-12 but I also see that they constantly buy and sell so the collection keeps changing within that number. It's not a collection of permanent titles for them. I can't afford that financially nor emotionally.

There's no way I can truly streamline. When/if I do, if means I'm not into fragrances anymore. I don't think you can streamline effectively if you are really into analyzing scents and enjoying them deeply because each scent is different in character and details than the others even if considered to be in the same "category." It's those details that create this wonderful hobby for me.
I am seriously trying to reduce the number of bottles I have but I'm having a hard time.

No. If it was 25 then yes. Chanel's got far more fragrances than 15. lol

I've spent a lot of time, effort, and mainly money to get the wardrobe I have. Why would I want to go backwards?

These responses are very interesting and varied. Some say they could reduce their wardrobe to 15 (or fewer!), while others say they absolutely don't want to reduce their wardrobes.

Sometimes I think about reducing my wardrobe, but if I did it would just be to make room for more frags! I am definitely addicted (and enjoying it).
