Thanks for the link. I hope it's as good as it sounds, when I get my hands on some

I really really really hope Spice and Wood doesn't have any detectable amount of that awful synthetic, petroleum-Cedar used in Lacroix Tumulte or Azzaro Visit, if it does and they charge $550/250ml, they're criminals. This review hints at many things I feared this could be. Hopefully it's a false alarm and this is great stuff.

I too am very interested to see how this is. I wasn't really impressed with Aventus so I am hoping it doesn't go that same route!

A word on natural cedar oils:
Atlas cedar oil has a woody, oily, petroleum, rich smell. It blends beutifully with other woods, florals and resins. The "pencil" cedar is virginia cedar which is actually a variety of juniper. They smell quite different. Both are referred to as cedar.
"Donít try to be original. Be simple. Be good technically, and if there is something in you, it will come out. Ē - Henri Matisse.

I hate Virginia ceder. I cant stand scents that dry down to that pencil shaving note. Atlas ceder is way better for me on my skin.

Thanks for the link. I am a bit skeptical that I will like this one. Time will tell.
