Coco eau de parfum (Chanel) - an awesomely rich, unisex, baroque oriental

JHL is an old-fashioned "pure" oriental, whereas something like Jaipur Homme has a bit of a gourmand quality. Jacomo Rouge is another like JH. A "new wave" one would be Magnetism for men.

B*Men may be a good choice, has great projection and longevity and doesn't smell like much anything else. But, I would definitely try to try this in person first.

Thanks for the replys but im not really liking any of those besides bmen and havent experienced good sillage from it.

Maybe im not looking for an oriental but something non gourmand for winter. Anymore suggestions? Thanks

True, B*Men is a bit of a gourmand oriental. Perhaps Burberry London is the answer then. But, if you get little sillage from B*Men, you may get nothing from London. You may also wanna consider Paul Smith London, though this is very hard to find in a bottle. Obsession and Obsession Night are worthy mentions as well.

All of these are a little sweet, but nothing gourmand.

btw: which specification makes a fragrance appropiate for fall/winter? And the same for gourmand (French for someone who is regarding food more quantity than quality oriented: the more the better)!

So, assumed you like to bring some sunshine back in fall/winter and have not to overcome bad smells from less carefull hygiene due to too cold water under the shower. Habit Rouge. It radiates a good mood, fits well to modern laundry musks, fruity but not too sweet. Alas, it will stink rancid if bodily smells interfere, take care!
