    Default Etat Libre d’Orange

Other than Fat Electrician and Tom of Finland, any other masculines from this line that are wearable and worth trying?

    Wearable masculines:

    Eloge du Traitre
    Je Suis Un Homme
(Reminds me a little of PdN New York)
Rien - I find this a little challenging as an everyday scent, but if you'd like some heavy leather, this one is worth trying.

The entire line of ELdO is really a set of unisex scents, IMO, maybe perhaps with the exception of Putain des Palaces, but I would also recommend for men:

Jasmin et Cigarette: tobacco "ashtray" scent with hay and jasmine, with cedar, musk and amber. Called "androgynous" in the ad copy.

Delicious Closet Queen: fruit opening with light floral with masculine notes of vetiver, sandalwood and leather.

Antiheros is waxy lavender soap and definitely worth a try!

I think if you like orientals Like This is a great fragrance. Unless you have an issue with ginger and immortelle, there's really nothing traditionally "gendered" about it. I highly recommend it.

Though I'm not a fan, Rien and Vierges Et Toreros are severe, leathery synthetic fragrances, Rien the harsher of the two.

All three of these fragrances are less dainty and powdery than Tom Of Finland.

It is my first post here... Ciao

In my opinion the best ELdO fragrance is Like This. Warm, spicy, with roasted pumpkin and imbir. It can remind of hot air from glowing campfire. I love it.

Second place for Nombril Immense. The beautiful white kitten... NI can be compared with to clean paw of that white little monster... Morover fragrance shows claw of smoky opoponax and pepper. Gorgeous

I own and love Like This, Fat Electrician, Jasmine & Cigarettes, Nöel au Balcon. My next purchases from this house will be Vraie Blonde and Rossy. Can't wait!

Would you take me seriously if I suggested SM? Try it, it's actually not at all bad IMO.

Another BNer for Like This. A really unusual and engaging variation on the leather chypre without the oakmoss.

I would like to recommend Je suis un homme. As was noted there are similarities to PdN-New York. I'm picking up a rubber undertone to the ELdO.

I feel that most of the ELdO are ok for men. +1 Je suis un homme and Jasmin et Cigarette in particular, and Rien if one likes leather.

    I love Fat Electrician.
Add another vote for Je suis un homme. Similar in some ways to Narziß, if you know that at all (better, IMO, but it's hard to find).
Rien and Tom of Finland are both too much for me.
I find Jasmin et Cigarettes a little too floral.
All I really get from Antiheros is lavender, and not much else.
Like This has me intrigued... I think I'll have to get a sample.
